About the role 

As Engineering Manager, you will lead the Engineering function and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for engineering projects, capital investments, facilities management, and the development of a high-performing engineering team, while driving operational excellence and supporting business growth. 

Your responsibilities 

• Lead, coach, and develop the Engineering team to achieve business and operational objectives. 

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards while fostering a strong safety culture. 

• Manage engineering investments and capital projects from planning and design through execution and delivery. 

• Prepare and oversee engineering budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control. 

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, sustainability, and operational performance. 

• Ensure manufacturing equipment and facilities remain up to date with company standards and industry best practices. 

• Partner closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and regional engineering teams to support business priorities and strategic initiatives. 

• Promote engineering standardization, change management, and implementation of new technologies and automation solutions. 

What we're looking for 

• University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Civil Engineering, or related fields). 

• 10+ years of engineering experience within manufacturing or industrial environments, including experience leading teams. 

• Proven track record of successfully delivering capital investment and engineering projects. 

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and continuous improvement practices. 

• Experience managing budgets and working with multiple stakeholders across functions. 

• Fluent English communication skills. 

• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities. 

Nice to have 

• Experience with manufacturing automation and facility management. 

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project. 

• Experience working in a multinational manufacturing environment.
