About the role
We’re looking for a structured and motivated Project Engineer to plan and deliver engineering projects focusing on driving improvements across our operations. In this role, you’ll focus on improving safety, efficiency, quality, compliance, and innovation in line with company objectives.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating projects end-to-end, ensuring safe execution, strong financial control, and effective collaboration across teams. From defining project scope to coordinating implementation and follow-up, you’ll play a key role in making sure initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities and tasks
- Plan, develop and coordinate engineering projects to improve operational performance.
- Ensure safe project execution by performing risk assessments and safety standards for employees and contractors.
- Monitor CAPEX investments and track project performance on a monthly basis.
- Lead feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and engineering analyses.
- Coordinate project activities, scheduling and prioritisation to meet timelines and objectives.
- Responsibility for documentation and ensuring accuracy, compliance with internal policies, legal requirements and ISO standards.
- Review technical designs and drawings performed by contractors and consultants as well as supervise equipment installation, commissioning, and validation processes.
- Ensure correct handover of equipment and registration in relevant systems (e.g., SAP).
- Maintain clear and structured communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track financial performance, monitor cash flow, and prepare regular reports for management and steering committees.
- Drive continuous improvement, collaboration, and standardization of equipment and processes.
- Support organisational change processes and ensure accurate validation before implementation.

Requirements
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, or similar).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, technical, or project-based roles.
- Experience leading projects from planning through execution.
- Strong knowledge of CAPEX management and budget follow-up.
- Experience working with structured project methodologies and tools.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Well developed skills in MS Office (especially Excel), MS Project, and AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of safety, quality, and environmental management systems (ISO standards).
- Project management certification (e.g. PMP) is a plus.
