About the role
We’re looking for an experienced and driven leader to take ownership of how we plan and deliver projects across the organization. You’ll play a key role in making sure projects are delivered in a structured, consistent way using our Initiative Management (IM) approach, while staying aligned with both local and global priorities.
In this role, you’ll lead and coach a team to make sure projects deliver real value — on time, within budget, and in line with our targets for safety, quality, sustainability, and performance. You’ll also be responsible for CAPEX planning, budget follow-up, and keeping partners informed along the way.
Key responsibilities and tasks
- Define and drive project strategies aligned with company goals, as well as deliver projects according to targets for time, cost, and value.
- Lead feasibility studies, engineering evaluations, and technology assessments.
- Plan and lead CAPEX and expense budgets, including forecasting and revisions.
- Track financial performance and ensure accurate monthly reporting.
- Act as a role model in safety and ensure compliance with our policies, standards and ISO requirements.
- Lead, coach, and develop your team to build strong capabilities and high performance.
- Support other departments with structure, guidance, and standards in project management.
- Ensure proper organisational change and maintain equipment standardization.
- Keep communication clear and professional with partners throughout the organization.
- Assume responsibility for your own development and support performance and training processes in your team.
Who you are
You are an experienced leader who enjoys coaching and developing others, and you take pride in building strong, high-performing teams. You have a structured way of working and are good at prioritizing, even when things move quickly. Delivering results motivates you, and you like seeing the real impact of your deliveries. You approach challenges with an analytical mindset, and you stay calm and focused even under pressure. Communication comes naturally to you, and you've developed skills in building trust and collaboration across different teams and functions. You’re proactive, take ownership of your work, and feel comfortable operating in an international, cross-functional environment.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, or equivalent).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a people leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale manufacturing projects, including start-ups, greenfield, and brownfield initiatives (preferred).
- Solid experience in industrialization and technology transfer, with a focus on scaling and operational readiness.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects end-to-end, from concept to value realization.
- Strong expertise in CAPEX planning, financial governance, and investment prioritization aligned with business strategy.
- Proven capability to lead and develop high-performing teams while driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional and senior leadership teams.
- Experience in driving project governance, standardization, and structured ways of working across the organization.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
