Your ‘day to day’
The Assoc. Manager Commercial Planning is responsible for planning, designing, leading and optimizing the end-to-end deployment strategy for selling our Heat-not-Burn (HnB) Products through our Indirect Retail Channels. This role ensures seamless transition from company and business strategy to actionable deployment, overseeing every stage of the process, from market analysis to post-deployment performance evaluation. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to translate complex strategies into actionable, deployment-ready plans, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and operate with both strategic and execution discipline. Success in this role will be measured mainly by deployment effectiveness, speed and quality of execution, and sustained business impact.
You will be accountable to:
Deployment Planning
- Key contact person from Commercial Planning for all HnB-related deployment in Indirect Retail
- Lead the development of Indirect Retail's deployment strategy for our HnB Products, ensuring alignment with cross-functional stakeholders of all levels
- Lead the deployment of initiatives, from initial planning and resources management to post-deployment analysis and performance evaluation
- Work closely with Commercial Forces, ensuring alignment on objectives, timelines and resources for successful deployment
- Continuously monitor deployed KPIs, business performance, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes
Consumer & Retailer Program Planning
- Lead the development and design of programs related to our HnB Products for Indirect Retail
- Design and implement comprehensive control processes for each program and ensuring proper audits are in place
- Develop KPIs to track the effectiveness of each program and ensure the programs remain relevant and impactful
- Regularly analyze and report on program performance, market penetration, and trade insights to identify and recommend areas for improvement and growth
- Manage budget for the programs, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet programs' objectives
Monthly Program Communication & Support
- Responsible for monthly Program Communication (Cycle Brief) materials for all HnB-related deployment in Indirect Retail
- Ensure clear communication of all deployment details to Commercial Forces, helping them understand the objectives and success measures
- Ensure the necessary system and processes (ie PO, e-TPA, iSMS, FieldCoach) are in place
- Work closely with Commercial Forces to gather feedback and insights on program effectiveness and deployment challenges to adjust strategies / plans when necessary
TPOSM Planning
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders of all levels to ensure relevant TPOSMs are deployed, based on feedback and insights from Commercial Forces
- Manage and plan accurate TPOSM allocation for smooth deployment and execution
- Monitor production progress from ideation to delivery via close tracking and follow-up prior to deployment
You will excel in this role should you have the below requirements:
- Min. 5 years of working experience in Trade / Channel Marketing, preferably in the FMCG sector
- Possess strong strategic-to-operational mindset with clear communication skills
- Possess strong commercial acumen and data literacy
- Possess ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Possess structured project & change management
