We are seeking a Service Now Tech Lead who is passionate about designing and delivering best-in-class IT services to a worldwide organization, and relentlessly looks at improving the life of internal customers.

 

Your 'day to day'

 

As the Tech Lead you will be responsible for our Service Now Platforms. Enabling the alignment of the SNOW platform with the CMDB and other integrations to a shared technical direction. Lead the technical aspects of the Platform team, designing, developing, and maintaining solutions that meet business, architecture, scalability, maintainability, technical standards and security criteria.

The Tech Lead will enable alignment with the product vision, mission, and goals. Help drive and implement our exciting new initiative to re-baseline our current SNOW instance. This is a great opportunity to transform our Service Management landscape and to drive the technical direction of our SNOW platform for the future. In partnership with Solution Architect, they seek innovative, high-quality solutions that can be reused. Pivotal in maintaining technical excellence and driving the team towards a successful, sustainable outcome. Working with the platform developers and engineers to translate solution design into acceptance criteria to be delivered as functional code and configurations.

 

To succeed in this role, you must be self-motivated, creative and have the natural drive to learn and pick up new challenges. You must have a strong IT background, with an in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow and its CMDB, SharePoint, IT service management (ITIL v4) and agile product delivery.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

•            Minimum expected Service Now accreditation: Certified Technical Architect

•            Excellent Communication skills

•            IT Service Management and agile delivery experience

•            Excellent verbal & written English communication skills

•            Excellent interpersonal skills

•            Strong leadership skills to coordinate and facilitate activities with colleagues

•            Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite (SharePoint)

•            Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira and Confluence)

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?

 

•            Provide technical leadership and guidance by participating in design workshops and gathering requirements

•            Contribute to the definition of epics, stories, and implementation strategy

•            Lead the technical definition and further refinement of the user stories for technical implementation

•            Provide high-level estimation of work to delivery management during early business case development and refine as per final requirements

•            Contribute to the technical hiring processes in the team and onboarding of new team members. (Including vendors)

•            Owns the solution design roadmap in line with Platform Architecture

•            Partner with the Product Owner and Product Manager, performing feasibility analysis of the solutions and making key technical decisions

•            Measures Technical Debt and ensure Technical Debt "payments" are continuously part of the sprint backlog allocation

•            Ultimate responsible for code quality, product availability, security, and reliability (including P1 presence)

•            Maintain documentation for all technical designs

•            Directly contribute to technical components of the platform

•            Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on the sprint backlog, understanding the technical implications and ensuring that changes align with the team’s capacity

•            Identify potential risks that could affect the sprint and work with Product Owner or Delivery Manager on mitigating them

•            Help run and support on critical issues and provide resolution/directions on resolution

•            Advocate for and implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to improve overall quality

•            Work closely with the Solution Architect to align solution design and compliance aspects of domain architecture
