We are seeking a passionate and experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to design and deliver top-tier IT services for our global organization. This role is dedicated to enhancing the experience of our internal customers.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?

 

  • Define and communicate the Architecture vision for the Platform and how it aligns with the enterprise Architecture
  • Design authority on Platform level and API/integration architectural approach
  • Provide guidance on how to implement Architecture
  • Lead on the Platform Architecture Sync. reviewing technical designs for feedback and adjustments
  • Identify alternative solution(s) to reduce or contain costs in line with domain architecture strategy (ARB)
  • Provide visibility and escalate exception decisions to the Architecture Council
  • Support and advise the Product Owner, Delivery Manager and Tech Leads in terms of architecture strategy and technical feasibility
  • Accountable to define solution architecture in line with the Target Platform Architecture
  • Accountable to finalise architecture runway and contribute to Platform Initiatives to reduce/avoid architectural debt
  • Ensure the solution is developed in line with defined and approved architecture
  • Align Architecture and Business priorities to maximize value delivery
  • Design architecture that fits to agreed SLA/OLA's, ITPF, Service Now Architectural principles and NFRs
  • Responsible to reduce the technical debt, refactoring etc receives the proper capacity allocation
  • Socialise and discuss significant solution design issues and create alignment across the Platform
  • Raise technical risks, the status of high-profile Enablers, new technical direction, a change in priority or scope for Platform
  • Remove architecture impediments and blockers
  • Ensures architectural debt reduction and avoidance
  • Define the Platform’s NFR's
  • Evolve the Platform’s architecture
  • Validate technology assumptions and evaluate implementation alternatives

 

Your 'day to day'

 

As the Solution Architect, you will oversee our ServiceNow platforms, ensuring alignment with the CMDB and other integrations.

You will collaborate with teams to develop system architecture, validate technology assumptions, and evaluate implementation alternatives. Defining how ServiceNow integrates within the broader IT ecosystem, considering dependencies with other IT platforms, will be a key part of your role.

You will work closely with the Product Owner and Technical Leads to provide technical governance and oversight for platform requirements, ensuring adherence to our strategic direction and compliance standards. Additionally, you will create and maintain solution designs for team reference.

To succeed in this role, you must be self-motivated and creative, with a natural drive to learn and tackle new challenges. A strong IT background is essential, with in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow, CMDB, SharePoint, IT service management, and agile product delivery.

You should thrive in challenging environments and take a leading role in delivering best-in-class services. Following through on commitments, taking responsibility, and consistently achieving goals and objectives is crucial.

Proficiency in ITIL v4 and knowledge and a working knowledge of Product Management disciplines are required, along with extensive knowledge and certifications in the ServiceNow platform and architecture.
