Your day to day

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect - Industrial IoT to be part of the Tech Global Technical Operations team.  We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to our projects. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, quick to learn, and ready to take on new challenges in a dynamic work environment.

As a Senior Solution Architect, you are the accountable owner of the end‑to‑end Industrial IoT platform architecture supporting Manufacturing.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• University degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-8 years of professional experience in IT Project Delivery in Consulting, Cloud, Industrial IoT in Manufacturing or Pharma Industries
• Hands‑on experience in end‑to‑end system and platform design.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
• Solid understanding of Industry 4.0 and IT/OT convergence concepts.
• Experience designing data platforms and AI / ML architectures.
• Mastering Enterprise Integration practices (API, Microservices, ESB, ETL/ELT, Service Mesh, SOA)
• Proficiency in Manufacturing technologies and concept such as Purdue Model, industrial protocol (OPC DA and OPC UA), and shop-floor systems (PLC, Equipment, Sensors and Actuators)
• Hands-on experience with integration standards SOAP, REST, WS*, JWT, AMQP, MQTT and FTP
• Hands-on experience with AWS platform (Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Security, AWS Lambda, AWS EKS, AWS IoT Greengrass, AWS Bedrock, AWS SageMaker etc.) or equivalent services in Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

What would be nice to have

• Hands‑on experience designing Industrial IoT solutions at scale.
• Experience with architecture frameworks and modelling techniques, for example TOGAF, ArchiMate. BPML, or UML.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and practices (Make2Sell, Make2Stock, Lean, Loss Reduction, Demand Planning and Scheduling, Factory Logistic, etc.), and reference models (ISA-95, RAMI 4.0, etc.)
• Experience with Data Modelling, Master, and Meta-Data, Datawarehouse domains (e.g., Inmon, Kimball, Data-Vault, Data-Mesh) 
• Understanding of identity, access management, and authorization models (SSO with SAML, LDAP, Kerberos, OAuth) and Authorization with RBAC/ABAC modelling.
• Understanding of Machine-Learning key practices (Features Extraction, Model Inferencing, Data Discovery)
• Understanding of SAP technologies (e.g., SAP Cloud Integration, SAP Transactions and Tables)
• AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional).

HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?

• Qualify and assess Manufacturing & Industrial IoT technology demands.
• Own end‑to‑end solution architecture from intake to PoC, MVP, and deployment, ensuring use of the right platforms, standards, and innovative technologies.
• Design and govern Industrial IoT platform architecture (edge, data, integration, analytics, AI).
• Make architecture decisions aligned with PMI principles, standards, and cybersecurity.
• Manage technical debt and optimize TCO.
• Advise Product Owners and Solution Managers during delivery, ensuring adherence to IT guiding principles.
• Ensure Non‑Functional Requirements are included and properly prioritized.
• Support implementation of PMI Architecture Services and documentation standards.
• Develop and maintain application, data, technology, and security architecture for IT products.
• Plan and publish product roadmaps for relevant domains.
• Drive implementation of digital products and support Product Owners.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product functionality and industry trends.
• Support RFI/RFP preparation and vendor evaluations.
• Lead discussions to promote principles, standards, and roadmaps.
• Promote cross‑solution collaboration and reuse of existing building blocks.
• Foster DevOps and engineering excellence across teams.
• Advise senior stakeholders on technology and architecture strategies.
• Maintain architecture documentation using tools like LeanIX.
