Senior IT Program Manager, SAP RISE Migration & SAP Program Management

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Program Manager to lead the end-to-end global migration of PMI’s SAP landscape to the SAP RISE environment, from planning and execution through cutover, stabilization, and transition to operations.
Impact You’ll Own
This role is critical to creating the technical foundation for PMI’s enterprise Process-Led Transformation, including future SAP S/4HANA deployment, and requires strong program leadership across business, technology, system integrator, vendor, and regional stakeholder groups.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end delivery of the SAP RISE migration program, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and critical milestones.
- Manage the full program lifecycle, from planning and readiness through testing, cutover, hypercare, stabilization, and closure.
- Coordinate migration activities across SAP applications, infrastructure, integrations, security, data, testing, cutover, and operational readiness.
- Engage senior business and IT stakeholders across global functions, regions, process owners, architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application operations.
- Establish strong governance, including SteerCo preparation, decision logs, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and executive reporting.
- Lead cross-functional teams and external partners, including SAP, hyperscalers, system integrators, managed service providers, and other vendors.
- Manage dependencies, escalations, budgets, resources, vendor contracts, and delivery risks to keep the program on track.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, cybersecurity standards, architecture governance, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive adoption through structured change management, training, and clear communication of benefits and impacts.
Skills & Capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
- 12+ years of experience managing complex IT programs in multinational environments, including large-scale SAP, ERP, cloud, infrastructure, or business-critical transformations.
- Strong experience with complex SAP programs, preferably including SAP RISE, SAP S/4HANA, cloud migration, technical cutover, or SAP landscape transformation.
- Deep understanding of SAP architecture, integration, lifecycle management tools, security, authorizations, transport management, environment management, and system landscape operations.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes impacted by SAP migration, including finance, logistics, manufacturing, intercompany, and master data governance.
- Experience with hyperscaler-based SAP environments, regulated or highly controlled environments, complex cutover planning, and global delivery teams across multiple time zones would be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage complexity and deliver under pressure.
