WHAT YOU’LL DO:

 

  • Define and implement data ownership, stewardship roles, and governance frameworks across key data domains
  • Develop and maintain data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle policies, including catalogs, processes, and standards
  • Establish governance metrics, reporting mechanisms, and continuous data quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure protection of sensitive data and compliance with regulatory and industry requirements
  • Drive AI data readiness initiatives and promote effective data management practices across regions
  • Partner with D&A teams, data owners, stewards, and business stakeholders to align governance with strategic objectives
  • Integrate data governance requirements into business processes and manage dependencies across the data lifecycle
  • Promote a data-driven culture by providing governance training, support, and stakeholder engagement

 

SKILLS & CAPABILITIES:

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Min 5-8 years of  experience in Data Governance, Data Management disciplines, Data Architecture, and data quality management
  • Strong understanding of SQL, metadata management, data modeling, master/reference data, and automation solutions
  • Ability to design and implement enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and procedures
  • Experience leading data governance initiatives and collaborating with data owners, stewards, subject matter experts, and cross-functional global teams
  • Solid knowledge of data-related regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, compliance requirements) and their practical application
  • Strong understanding of business processes, data platforms, databases, storage solutions, and data governance technologies
  • Excellent communication, change management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive adoption and engage diverse stakeholders
