Your 'day to day'
As a Senior Analyst Finance Data Governance you will be supporting our Finance Data Governance & Management Capability deployment and activation, to achieve the cruise-mode.
More specifically, you will
- Provide leadership and support across the Finance team, sharing and championing practices in Data Governance, Data Modelling and Master Data Management across Finance
- Act as a Business Partner for Global Finance Data Owners, Functional Finance Data Stewards and Data SMEs
- Provide direction to Finance Data Owners, Stewards and project teams according with defined strategy for the end-to-end Finance Data Model throughout Finance Systems landscape
- Act as a Data Governance Ambassador to the Finance community, by promoting adoption of the established framework and sharing standard methodologies
- Coordinate the design of Data Governance artefacts and Data Management processes design / update to ensure successful service transition / activation of the Data Roles
- Lead impact assessments, translate business requirements to data requirements and design reviews of the Finance Data Model. Provide mentorship and expertise to project teams.
- Ensure establishment and continuous monitoring of Data Quality metrics and reported issues for the Finance Data Model. Act upon reported critical data quality issues by supporting root-cause analysis and the issue resolution roadmaps, in collaboration with other partners.
- Collaborate with Master Data Management team in the establishment and continuous monitoring of Service Management Agreement and Data Quality framework. Collaborate in service health-checks and co-pilot continuous improvement over our Data Artefacts.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Data Governance as well as other Functional Data Governance teams across PMI, while sharing experiences, lessons learned and practices
- Promote continuous improvement of Data Governance model and related processes
Who we're looking for
- University degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Management, Information Management, IT or equivalent, MBA studies as a strong asset
- At least 5 years’ experience in Data & Analytics, Data Quality and/or Finance Systems gained in an international work environment
- Knowledge in Data Governance is a plus
- Able to drive data strategy and data analysis discussions
- Strong data and data-driven knowledge, able to interpret internal client business/technical requirements, and support in translating these into clearly articulated agendas and strategies to accelerate how Data supports Finance
- Proven project management skills, with problem solving competencies
- Experience working in a matrixed organization across programs/projects
- Effective and pervasive communicator and leader
- Ability to establish, manage and grow senior partners’ relationships
- Business partnering skills, ability to deal with senior partners and advise them on a periodic basis
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and value propositions within the Finance to drive growth
- Proficient English speaker
