As a Visualization & BI Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in building digital products at Philip Morris International (PMI). You will be responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team and ensuring that the team backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs. As a member of the extended Product Management function, the PO serves as the team's primary customer advocate and primary link to business and technology strategy. You will be crucial in balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders while continuously evolving the Product.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- At least two years in product management roles, including significant experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Service Manager or comparable experience working on Product Teams.
- University / Post Graduate (Masters Degree), a technical field is preferred or comparable working experience on IT related roles.
- Desirable: Product Owner certification (e.g., CSPO, PSPO I, POPM, A-CSPO, PSPO II, LPM)
- Proficient in various agile tools and frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking, metrics and team event facilitation.
- Basic understanding of agile delivery methods, including CI/CD, Extreme Programming (XP), TDD and BDD.
- Knowledge in IT budgeting and Business Case preparation.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Power BI & Microsoft Fabric (e.g. as Product Manager, Product Owner, Service Manager)
- Desirable experience in BI tools (Tableau, Snowsight, Quicksight, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, particularly in the context of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and make trade-offs based on business value.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders, and effectively represent their needs to the team.
- Knowledge of business strategy, customer segmentation, market dynamics, and value stream economics.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and Continuous Delivery Pipeline.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?
- Product Ownership: Serve as the product owner for Visualization & BI Products, ensuring alignment with the Product Group Vision/Strategy/Roadmap, promoting Self-Service BI Capabilities, Automation, Security and Scalability as an important part of PMI’s data driven culture.
- Own the Visualization & BI Roadmap, provide clear direction to the long range plan.
- Defining Requirements: Build, edit, and maintain the Team Backlog, acting as the content authority for what will be built.
- Backlog Prioritization: Prioritize product backlog items, develop product roadmaps.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with stakeholders, including customers, business managers, delivery teams, and external partners to ensure clarity of goals and alignment of vision.
- Build strong working partnership with Engineering Teams, other Product Owners and delivers in alignment with Visualization & BI technology roadmap priorities
- Product Lifecycle Management: Own the entire lifecycle of the product, from defining and measuring business objectives to managing development, release, and support.
- Cross-Product Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Owners from other products within the portfolio to deliver cross-product initiatives.
- Market and User Analysis: Analyze market/user research, feedback, expert opinions, and usage data to identify needs and opportunities.
- Customer Testing and Launch Coordination: Coordinate customer testing and product launches, and support communications and training efforts.
- Manage legal and compliance: Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure the product meets all necessary requirements.
- Budget Management: Oversee and control the product's financial resources, including forecasting, allocation, and tracking of expenses.
