The Product Owner - Data Intelligence Platform is accountable for the vision, roadmap and maximizing business value from the platforms enabling Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Advanced AI/ML capabilities across the company.
The role owns what problems are worth solving, why they matter, and how platform capabilities translate into measurable outcomes.

This role sits at the intersection of business demand, technology, governance, and adoption, ensuring that investment in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Advanced Analytics results in real customer value, responsible scale, and sustainable cost and risk management.

The Product Owner acts as a steward of value and a strategic integrator, ensuring teams focus on well-defined, high‑impact problems while avoiding misaligned use cases and uncontrolled experimentation, and while effectively managing and collaborating with stakeholders.

Product Scope

The role owns the product vision and value delivery for PMI’s Data Intelligence platform, including:

• Generative AI Platforms - enterprise LLM access (AWS Bedrock, Gemini and Azure), GenAI APIs, knowledge bases, guardrails.
• GenAI Playgrounds – Custom inhouse development solutions to promote AI fluency within the company.
• Agentic AI Enablement LangSmith, LangGraph, Databricks, AgentCore – runtime, observability, and evaluation of agent-based workflows.
• Advanced Analytics & AI/ML Platforms Databricks, Amazon SageMaker – end to end platform for model development, training, deployment, MLOps, and governance These platforms are treated as enterprise products—designed for reuse, scale, governance, and long‑term business impact.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

•  4+ years in Product Management / Product Ownership, preferably for platforms
• Proven experience with GenAI, AI/ML, or advanced analytics ecosystems
• Strong background in Agile, product‑centric operating models
• Solid understanding of:

• Generative AI and LLM ecosystems
• Agentic AI and orchestration patterns
• AI/ML lifecycle, AIOps and MLOps

• Working knowledge of GenAI, Agentic AI, ML technologies (i.e. AWS Bedrock, GCP, Azure, AWS Sagemaker, Databricks, OpenAI, Langchain)
• Understanding of IT Platform building principles (Microservices Architecture, CI/CD, Scalability, multitenancy)
• Comfortable operating in large, regulated enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, particularly in the context of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum and Kanban
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and make trade-offs based on business value

HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog with explicit linkage to business outcomes, value realization, adoption, and customer satisfaction
• Prioritize initiatives based on expected value, strategic relevance, feasibility, and risk, continuously challenging solution‑first thinking with clear problem statements and success criteria
• Represent the needs of business users, data scientists, engineers, and platform consumers, ensuring platforms remove friction and enable meaningful outcomes
• Drive structured feedback loops (user engagement, NPS/CSAT, usage data) and translate insights into evidence‑based roadmap decisions
• Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, translating complex technical or regulatory constraints into clear, decision‑ready trade‑offs and managing cross‑team dependencies
• Lead the evolution of secure, scalable, and compliant platforms, embedding Responsible AI, security, privacy, and compliance by design
• Embrace continuous discovery and problem framing, validating who benefits, how success is measured, and whether a platform solution is justified before scaling
• Partner with engineering to ensure high‑quality delivery, transparent governance, KPI tracking (value, usage, cost), and clear communication of progress, risks, and decisions
