As a Product Owner, Supply Chain Data Products, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering data products that drive insights and enhance decision-making within Operation function. You will be a key contributor in shaping and executing the data product strategy across the Supply Chain E2E. Your role involves translating business needs into actionable product requirements, managing the product backlog, and ensuring successful product delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders, to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
WHAT IS NEEDED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Business, or Data Science
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably in data-driven environments
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between various teams
- At least 3-5 years of experience in product management or related roles
- Familiarity with data product development process – data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization tools
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Matillion, MS Power BI)
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Scrum practices and Scaled Agile (SAFe)
- Experience working in cross-functional Scrum teams
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Operations / Supply Chain background and experience is nice to have

HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?
- Define the long-term vision for data products, aligning them with organizational goals
- Develop a strategic roadmap that outlines the evolution of data products over time
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle – ideation, launch, scaling, maintenance, end of life
- Gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring they align with business objectives
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed product specifications
- Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on changing requirements
- Work closely with business leaders, data scientists, and engineers to understand user needs, pain points and anticipate future requirements
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams
- Ensure timely delivery, quality, and alignment with user expectations
- Understand data privacy regulations and ensure compliance
- Implement data governance practices to maintain data quality and security
- Define success metrics for data products
- Monitor product performance and iterate based on feedback and data insights
- Lead cross-functional teams during product development sprints
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment
- Deliver regular updates on product development to various stakeholder groups
