Position Title:  Procurement Sourcing Senior Specialist - Airfreight

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Advanced spend and volume analysis for strategy development
• Implementation of category strategy
• Developing and implementing cost efficiency programs
• Conducting bidding processes for airfreight services of varying frequency
• Overseeing category spend and volumes
• Overseeing the SPOT BUY process
• Driving a continuous improvement mindset for the category
• Being escalation point for the business

SKILLS & CAPABILITIES:

• University degree preferably in Supply Chain, Economics, Procurement or equivalent fields of study
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the area of procurement sourcing in international environment.
• Experience in Logistics, Airfreight transportation is preferred.
• Fluent command of English (C1 or higher)
• Strong analytical skills, solid knowledge and experience in using Excel is a must. Experience with using VBA or Power BI would be an advantage.
• Experience using AI in analysis and day-to-day work
• Ability to draw conclusions and recommendations from analyses performed
• Strong priority setting and problem-solving skills.
• Customer centric approach accompanied with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to work with various stakeholders in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
• Assertive to follow up on projects and interact with business partners of all levels including senior stakeholders
• Self-driven, proactive and able to work independently in a cross-cultural business environment
• Independent in leading and overseeing the bidding process
• Managing and overseeing the SPOT BUY process, with governance over the category
• Continuous improvement mindset, challenging the status quo
