About Service Transitions

 

 

Service Transition (Transition) Team, a pivotal Team within Service Excellence domain, plays a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing changes within PMI organization. It can involve various aspects, such as people, process and service transition and buildup, responsibilities shift, technology upgrades, organizational restructuring, or even changes in leadership. Our Team ensures that each transition project is executed efficiently, without business disruption, while maintaining high-quality service delivery within PMI organization.

Our globally diverse Team collaborates with key stakeholders across PMI and beyond, liaising with external providers in different areas of business. We deliver top-notch transition services for the best customer experience, leveraging standardized methodology, and change management best practices. We focus on risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and process excellence to enable a smooth and successful transition experience, supporting PMI organization’s strategic goals and operational efficiency.

 

 

Purpose of the job

 

 

Service Transitions Team, housed within the GBS Excellence Capability Center, delivers transition services to various Service Lines within GBS and beyond, including outsourcing and insourcing of services. Our mission is to enable seamless, efficient, and high-quality transitions of business process inside/outside of GBS, between PMI markets, clusters, regions. We are committed to ensuring no business disruption, standardizing and optimizing business processes, and delivering value through proven transition & change management methodology, strong governance, and stakeholder collaboration.

We are seeking a highly motivated, result-oriented, agile Transition management professional with strong & proven background in managing end-to-end transitions, handling organizational changes, mitigating the risks and ensuring smooth service delivery, strong finance and business acumen, ability to influence senior leadership team and perform in ambiguous and uncertain circumstances. As a key member of the Service Excellence Team, you will play a paramount role in driving GBS expansion strategy.

 

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

 

 

  • A seasoned professional with a minimum of 8 years of experience across Finance, Commercial, or GBS environments, including at least 5 years in transition management, project management, and change management. Brings a minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience managing transitions within the CCS function and at least 6 years of supervisory experience. Demonstrated track record leading 5+ Transition & Transformation programs, including the development and execution of comprehensive Change & Communication strategies.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deal with various stakeholders at different levels of seniority.
  • Strong decision-making skills and accountability.
  • Ability and readiness to make difficult decisions and take calculated risks.
  • Consumer-centric approach and mindset.
  • Ability to balance several tasks and priorities with resilience and positive attitude.
  • Ability to remain composed and effective in ambiguous or uncertain situations.
  • Comfortable with fast past-paced, high-intensity environment where multiple projects are ongoing, and work needs to be prioritized.
  • Innovative mindset with demonstrated expertise in realizing business value, a vision of long-term goals and strategy on how to achieve them.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a certification such as PMP, PMI-ACP or PRINCE2 being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with a deep understanding of the technological aspect of P2P, R2R, Global Controlling, Treasury, CCS.
  • Communication and presentation skills: ability to convey complex concepts to various stakeholders.
  • English Proficiency: Advanced Business English is a must.
  • Experience in Global Share Service Centre is appreciated.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?

 

 

Transition & Change Management Deployment:

 

  • Develop detailed transition plans, timelines, and roadmaps.
  • Define scope, objectives, and key deliverables for each transition phase.
  • Lead and coordinate transition activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees affected by transitions.
  • Support change management efforts, including communication strategies and training.
  • Foster a positive and adaptable work culture during transition periods.

 

Stakeholder & Communication Management:

 

  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings, status updates, and reports on transition progress.
  • Address concerns, manage expectations, and ensure stakeholder alignment.

 

Risk Management:

 

  • Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies to minimize disruption.
  • Track and manage transition issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Escalate critical risks to senior management with proposed solutions.

 

Transition Monitoring:

 

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and transition success metrics.
  • Continuously assess and optimize transition processes for efficiency.
