The Manager Network Design is a critical leader in shaping PMI’s global supply chain of the future. This role leads end‑to‑end network design studies, orchestrates cross‑functional delivery, and translates advanced modeling insights into concrete business decisions—enabling cost efficiency, service leadership, sustainability, and resilience across global markets.

You will be at the heart of PMI’s transformation: driving strategic scenarios, challenging status‑quo flows, and ensuring our network is optimized for today while ready for tomorrow.

 

 

Yor day-to-day

 

  • Lead holistic supply chain network analysis: cost, risk, service, CO₂, capacity, agility, 
    and CO₂ footprint.
  • Build, validate, and interpret complex models (Coupa/Llamasoft-based), translating outcomes into strategic recommendations
  • Drive scenario‑modelling that guides investment decisions and long-term structural footprint evolution
  • Identify and assess new optimization opportunities across the end‑to‑end network
  • Act as Project and Delivery Manager for global and in‑market Network Design initiatives, from charter definition to final handover
  • Manage timelines, milestones, risks, decision points, and steering‑committee alignment
  • Ensure seamless execution of projects that deliver measurable improvements in cost‑to‑serve, service reliability, resilience, and sustainability
  • Serve as the primary interface for markets, regions, and global functions
  • Shape recommendations in close collaboration with Finance, Commercial, Operations, Tax, Regulatory, and Logistics teams
  • Build credibility with senior leadership, influence decision‑making, and ensure adoption of agreed scenarios
  • Ensure alignment with Supply Chain strategy, identity, and internal guidelines
  • Enable market growth and route‑to‑market transformations through network redesign
  • Support global initiatives such as LEAF, industrialization programs, DIM/SFG footprints, and upstream/downstream redesigns
  • Contribute to achieving CO₂ reduction and sustainability ambitions
  • Manage and develop internal teams and external partners involved in Network Design activities
  • Build and leverage external partnerships to bring industry best practices into the organization 
 
 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, or related fields
  • Experience in consumer goods or similar complex global supply chain environments
  • Proven track record in modeling, analytics, and delivering complex network projects
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong command of logistics, distribution, and fulfillment models
  • Understanding of optimization and cost-modelling concepts
  • Experience with network modelling tools (e.g., Coupa/Llamasoft) - optional
  • Analytical horsepower and strong business judgement
  • Attention to detail with speed and pragmatism
  • Project and program management excellence
  • Ability to simplify complexity and make quality decisions
  • Ability to build effective teams
  • Consistent stakeholder management across senior levels
  • Ability to articulate insights clearly and influence decisions
