We're looking for a Business Unit Manager to join our production team in Krakow 

 

Your ‘day to day’

 

  • Manage, plan, lead activities of the assigned business unit(s) in compliance to Sustainability, Quality and Legal requirements.
  • Ensure full focus on achieving all assigned KPIs "end-to-end" (from Supplier to Consumer) linked to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Morale, following a preventive/predictive approach
  • Collaborate with Production Manager to the strategy development and deployment (linked to Open+/IOS) for business unit .
  • Develop and lead an integrated and high performing team following principles of OPEN+/IOS to step up the team capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance to all PMI and legal standards, policies and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset or societal loss.
  • Act and promote an interdependent and transparent safety culture fostering the utilization of preventive/predictive approach in line with Open+/IOS
  • Ensure compliance to all PMI and Legal standards and guidelines related to Quality of incoming materials, SFGs and FGs in line with the QMS.
  • Proactively leads, in cooperation with QA responsible and relevant stakeholders, the quality program to prevent quality incidents, reduction and elimination of non conformities in the process and product integrity.
  • Ensure the highest internal and external consumers satisfaction, through Open+/IOS tools
  • Guarantee production plans adherence and high consumer service level for the assigned business unit(s).
  • Lead the business unit DDS to ensure timely triggers and corrective actions are closed to improve the critical metrics.
  • Responsible for vertical start up of projects and initiatives in the production lines
  • Ensure the end-to-end business review for the business unit by contributing to Production function strategy according to Open+
  • Ensure focus on delivering productivity targets by eliminating losses in processes related to uptime, DIM Waste, Yield, Overtime, R&M (repair and maintenance), utilities and environment.
  • Guarantee standardization, reapplication and knowledge-sharing of best practices and standards and propose new solutions in order to eliminate production losses.
  • Responsible for vertical startup of projects and initiatives in the production lines
  • Perform regular coaching to develop capabilities of the team on the daily management systems according to IMS and to support in the personnel skill/technical development of each team member to build ownership and team autonomy.
  • Guarantee development of the organization as per Open+/IOS journey, focusing on ownership, capabilities, and leadership growth.
  • Lead the development of the autonomous/self-sufficient team as per Open+/IOS journey, focusing on ownership, capabilities, and leadership growth.
  • Builds effective networks relationships within production lines and other key partners across the business to achieve outstanding business outcomes.
  • Create an environment in which each member of the team is motivated to express own talent and potential.
  • Communicate in timely manner on loss elimination priorities, plans and responsibilities to ensure cross-functional alignment. Share knowledge and methods to encourage and foster benchmarking, reapplication and continuous improvement.
  • Take responsibility for the completion of own and team training and development plan and align with the established requirements.
  • Contribute to the full year pillar plan definition and implementation aligned with OPEN+ Phase journey.
  • Participate and contribute to pillar reviews definition and implementation as per defined frequency.
  • Is responsible for implementation of Standard work process defined in Pillars (AM steps, quality factor, problem solving SWP, etc)
  • Ensure self and team capabilities based on step-up cards.
     

Who we’re looking for:

 

  • College /University: Bachelor/ Master in Engineering, Business Administration, Management or equivalent education
  • Proficient in English, Polish language knowledge is an asset.
  • Experience in Integrated Work System (IWS), DMS and related tools is an advantage
