Purpose of the job:

The Lead Regional eCommerce EU plays a critical role in driving the performance, consistency, and strategic development of eCommerce across EU markets. The role ensures high-quality execution of digital initiatives, campaigns, features, and customer experience improvements across regional Digital platforms. You will serve as the key connector between EU markets, central/global teams, and cross-functional stakeholders—ensuring that the region consistently meets eCommerce performance standards, adheres to global CX guidelines, and continuously improves overall digital execution.

 

Your ‘Day to Day’

Key Responsibilities

1. Regional eCommerce Strategy & Deployment

· Translate global eCommerce & CX strategies into market-ready regional execution plans.

· Deploy regional eCommerce initiatives by analyzing market insights and integrating global tools, programs, and capabilities.

· Ensure markets adopt global CX standards, toolboxes, and performance frameworks.

· Support markets in delivering consumer-centric and compliant product launches, campaigns, and site enhancements.

 

2. Market Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Act as the main point of contact for markets for all non-technical eCommerce topics (campaigns, content, features, CX/UX improvements).

· Manage engagement and communication flows between markets, regional teams, and global stakeholders.

· Conduct regular governance sessions with markets and provide a continuous feedback loop on performance, pain points, and opportunities.

· Build strong collaborative relationships across Marketing, CX, Legal, IT, BI, and Operations.

3. Performance Management & Insights Delivery

· Audit and monitor channel performance, ensuring high-quality execution across markets.

· Provide actionable insights on content, consumer behavior, CX friction points, SEO health, and conversion patterns.

· Partner with BI and data teams to enhance KPI dashboards, automate data flows, and ensure data accuracy.

· Represent EU eCommerce insights in cross-market or global projects.

 

4. Feature Activation & Web Operations

· Coordinate and validate market intake requests for feature activation, CX enhancements, and optimizations.

· Manage deployment of eCommerce features across both global platforms and local market solutions.

· Ensure alignment with global roadmaps, controlling demand flow to central/OC teams.

· Provide post-deployment validation, quality assurance, and performance checks.

 

5. Best Practice Sharing & Regional Capability Building

· Consolidate leading practices and share insights across EU markets.

· Identify gaps in maturity across markets and provide recommendations.

· Strengthen regional eCommerce knowledge through documentation, templates, and guidance playbooks.

 

Who We’re Looking For

 

Experience

· Minimum 5 years in eCommerce, digital marketing, digital operations, or web management.

· Demonstrated experience working in global/multimarket environments with complex stakeholder structures.

· Strong experience in campaign execution, CMS operations, content publishing, SEO, analytics, and CRO.

 

Education

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital, Marketing, Management, Communications, or related field.

· Fluent in English; additional EU languages are a plus.

 

Technical Skills

· Proficiency in CMS platforms, GA/GA4, SEO tools, and performance analytics.

· Strong command of project management tools (Confluence, Teamwork, MS Suite).

· Advanced Excel and dashboarding experience (Power BI beneficial).

 

Soft Skills

· Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

· Ability to manage multiple markets and projects simultaneously.

· Creative, consumer-centric, and able to think strategically.
