Driving Excellence in ITSM Process Automation
At PMI, we are redefining how services are delivered and integrated across the business.
As an IT Automation Lead, you’ll be responsible for driving efficiencies and continuous improvement within Service Management and Delivery. You will support Service Managers in all IT Platform teams to enable them to drive increasing levels of excellence in service outcomes for their customers in the use of AI and Automation and to elevate service maturity across the organisation. Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to align business objectives and optimize overall process performance. This role requires a deep understanding of automation tools and technologies.
Your day-to-day
- Lead the direction and implementation of IT automation strategies and solutions within Service Orchestration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and supporting tooling
- Ensure the reliability and scalability of automation solutions
- Monitor and analyze the performance of automation systems and make necessary improvements
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in IT automation
- Prepare and present reports on automation projects and their benefits and value
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in IT automation/AI, with a strong understanding of automation tools and technologies
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tooling and solutions
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
