As an IT Solution Expert, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and supporting Salesforce-based solutions including AI technologies within the IT P&C portfolio. You will act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, ensuring solutions are robust, compliant, and scalable. Technical implementation will mostly be done by external vendors while your role will be more focused on process understanding and business engagement, with a strong technical background.
‘Your day to day’
Solution Implementation & Technical Leadership
- Design, develop, and implement IT solutions for People & Culture (HR), GBS and Finance aligned with architectural standards and People & Culture (HR) roadmaps based on Salesforce (mainly Service Cloud and Experience Cloud) products
- Analyse business requirements, recommend solutions and indicate implications and outcomes of proposed design and be able to translate them to user stories
- Provide technical solution design for complex enhancements and projects, ensuring scalability and maintainability
- Act as a delivery lead for enhancements, coordinating across teams and ensuring timely delivery including managing external resources from vendor
- Oversee system integration efforts using APIs and middleware, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability (Mulesoft in particular)
- Ensure adherence to data security, privacy, and compliance standards
- Provide expert guidance on Salesforce best practices and platform capabilities
- Evaluate new release enhancements and vendor roadmaps to align with business needs and technology strategy
- Use AI to enhance the product and the team’s productivity
Business Analysis & Process Optimization
- Gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and functional design documents
- Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and propose optimized workflows
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to assess new technologies and their fit within the existing ecosystem
- Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement
Build trust and manage expectations across business and IT teams
- Influence stakeholders without direct authority through clear communication and negotiation
- Support change management activities including training, adoption, and impact assessments
Project & Vendor Collaboration
- Work closely with Project Managers to align on timelines, dependencies, and deliverables
- Engage with vendors to ensure solution compliance with PMI IT policies and manage performance
- Participate in blueprinting, UAT, deployment planning, and hypercare phases
Who we’re looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Salesforce solutions design & implementation, preferably within People & Culture (HR)
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce products (preferred Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) from both a technical and functional perspective
- Capability of understanding the system architecture, data structure, integrations, and cloud/SaaS environments
- Strong integration knowledge with ability to collaborate with developers and design scalable ad security
- Familiarity with AI, Agentforce, Copilot, Bedrock (is a plus)
- Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, and PMP frameworks (is a plus)
- Experience in global support environments and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence and related tools for project tracking and collaboration
- Experience with system integrations and middleware platforms (Mulesoft, Solace etc.) (is a plus)
- Basic Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (is a plus)
- Salesforce certifications are a plus
