The Senior Program Manager leads complex, multi‑workstream initiatives that advance ETF and PMI Tech strategic objectives. The role ensures end‑to‑end governance, predictable delivery, compliance, value realization, and cross-functional alignment across global teams. 

Operating within PMI Tech’s adapted Delivery Excellence framework—rooted in PMI/PMP standards but enhanced with Agile and SAFe‑inspired practices—the Senior Program Manager drives delivery in hybrid environments, requiring strong orchestration across Product Owners, Delivery Managers, Engineering Leads, SMEs, vendors, and shared platform teams. 

A foundational understanding of core infrastructure and platform technologies is required to connect the dots, understand delivery impacts, and interface effectively with technical teams. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Program Leadership & Strategic Alignment:
    • Translate strategic intent into an actionable, iterative program roadmap with clear objectives, outcomes, and boundaries. 

    • Align product teams and platforms through cadence-based planning.

    • Maintain integrated program plans covering milestones, dependencies, risks, and critical paths. 

 

  • Governance & Delivery Excellence (PMP-Based, Agile-Enhanced):
    • Run governance forums (SteerCos, risk reviews, alignment sessions, readiness checks) with structured and data-driven content.

    • Apply Delivery Excellence baselines (scope, timeline, cost, resources, risk) while enabling agility. 

    • Ensure compliance with PMI Tech policies, IT frameworks, security controls, and governance gates. 

 

  • Cross-Functional Coordination & Delivery Orchestration:
    • Coordinate execution across engineering, product, architecture, security, service, finance, vendors, and external partners. 

    • Facilitate cross-team alignment using SAFe-inspired collaboration practices. 

    • Uphold delivery backbone (RAID, reporting, governance cadence). 

 

  • Risk, Issue & Dependency Management:
    • Identify and mitigate risks early. 

    • Manage dependencies across workstreams and platforms. 

    • Maintain a consolidated RAID with clear ownership. 

 

  • Stakeholder Management & Communication:
    • Act as the single communication point for sponsors, platform leads, business owners, and partners. 

    • Provide concise, data-driven updates for SteerCos, VP-level leadership, and DISD (Digital Investment and Strategy Deployment committee). 

    • Enable decision-making and prioritization. 

 

  • Quality Assurance, Compliance & Operational Readiness:
    • Define and validate quality criteria early. 

    • Coordinate security compliance, testing readiness, architecture alignment, and operational readiness. 

 

  • Financial & Vendor Management (Always In-Scope):
    • Own budgeting, forecasting, tracking, and cost variance. 

    • Prepare and present funding requests to the VP-level DISD investment committee. 

    • Oversee vendor selection, onboarding, delivery performance, and cost control. 

 

  • Value Realization & Benefits Tracking:

    • Define measurable business value. 

    • Track benefit realization and support adoption and sustainability. 

 

 

Who are we looking for?

 

 

  • Delivery Competencies (Must‑Have):
    • Strong mastery of PMI/PMP-aligned program management adapted for Agile. 

    • Experience in hybrid or scaled Agile environments (SAFe-inspired cadence, planning, synchronization). 

    • Expertise in program planning, RAID management, governance, baseline control, and structured reporting. 

    • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Power BI. 

    • Ability to assess delivery readiness across testing, architecture, security, and operational domains. 

    • Strong governance discipline for SteerCos, alignment forums, and checkpoints. 

 

  • Technical Competencies (Foundational Knowledge):
    • AWS cloud fundamentals. 

    • Data & AI platform basics (pipelines, governance, AI enablement). 

    • Microsoft 365 ecosystem and digital workplace tooling. 

    • Identity & Access Management (authentication, authorization, lifecycle, Zero Trust). 

    • Private cloud & networking basics (virtualization, segmentation, load balancing, firewalls).

 

  •  Experience & Qualifications:

    • 7–12 years experience delivering multi-workstream programs in technology. 

    • Experience across infrastructure, platforms, or enterprise technology domains. 

    • Comfortable engaging with engineering and architecture teams. 

    • Experience in hybrid (PMP + Agile/SAFe) environments. 

    • Preferred certifications: PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Scrum/Agile, SAFe.

 

  • Success Measures:
    • Programs delivered on time, in full (OTIF). 

    • Funding secured via DISD Investment committee. 

    • High-quality outputs aligned to compliance and governance. 

    • Strong risk and dependency management. 

    • Stakeholder satisfaction across VP-level and domains. 

    • Value outcomes achieved and sustained. 

    • Effective cross-team alignment via cadence and SAFe-inspired practices.

For Poland: In this position, you will earn no less than 35 200  PLN gross per month
