Joining Technology & Platform Engineering

The Technology & Platform Engineering is a group of IT experts who are passionate about ushering PMI into a smoke free future through technology. From best-in-class cloud infrastructure to leading-edge software engineering, this diverse multicultural group provides the future-proof technology foundations powering Philip Morris International’s digital transformation. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

· Strong knowledge of DevOps patterns and practices

· Experience with one or more of the following tools:

- Jenkins Server Configuration, writing Jenkins pipelines as code,

- JFrog Artifactory

- Elastic (ELK) and/or New Relic stack,

- SonarQube

- Perforce BlazeMeter

- OpsGenie or PagerDuty

• Good knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRA)

• Ability to break down complex technical work into smaller manageable parts

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) public cloud

• Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) based on Terraform

• Experience writing automate infrastructure tests

• Experience with Python and Git

• Good communicator, able to present complex ideas understandably

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum

• University degree

• Certifications - AWS Associate Solution Architect is a plus

HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?

• Take an active step in designing and guiding the development of new services for our platform.

• You will work as a member of a scrum team which develops and operates a set of services which provide the backbone of a rich ecosystem of DevOps tools used in modern cloud native development and operations

• You will actively participate in the development and execution of our DevOps and SRE strategy. As a senior member of the team you will lead by example the other team members

• Apply software engineer mindset and practices in DEEP
