At our Global Data & Analytics Hub, we turn business problems into mathematical/statistical solutions and production-grade pipelines that support real business processes.
As a Data Scientist, you will work in one of two complementary specializations while building a solid foundation in the shared core:
- Track A - Classical / Applied Machine Learning: develop, train, evaluate and deploy predictive models (classification, clustering, regression, forecasting, recommendation, computer vision) and support production pipelines
- Track B - AI / GenAI Engineering: build LLM-powered applications, RAG systems and agentic workflows (prompt engineering, tool/function calling, evaluation and guardrails) on top of foundation models
Either specialization is acceptable.
What you'll do
- Translate business problems into mathematical/statistical or AI solutions and deliver production-ready code through CI/CD and code reviews
- Work with business stakeholders and project teams to understand requirements and shape data/AI products
- Deliver project components from analysis and modelling to implementation under the guidance of a Senior Data Scientist or project lead
- Contribute to technical discussions, design decisions, risk identification and solution proposals
- Prototype and implement solutions with increasing autonomy
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the Advanced Analytics Community of Practice
- Follow Scrum practices and team standards for reproducibility, testing and engineering quality
Skills & Capabilities
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Engineering or a related quantitative field
- 1-3 years of Data Science / ML experience, including internships or project work
- Python required; SQL is a plus
- Experience writing clean, modular, testable code, including unit testing, packaging and logging
- CI/CD & SDLC knowledge, including Git/Bitbucket, automated testing and versioning
- AWS experience; SageMaker, Bedrock, S3, Lambda, ECS or API Gateway are a plus
- Understanding of MLOps, including deployment, monitoring, versioning and performance tracking
- Awareness of data governance, privacy, security and compliance
- Experience with Agile methodologies and hypothesis-driven problem solving
- Strong communication, ownership and learning mindset
