Associate Data Science role is to participate in solving real business problems with Advanced Analytical solutions, using state-of-the-art technologies and methods to develop data products for multiple stakeholders. Support of communication with the markets to spread the knowledge and best practices and drive Advance Analytics platform development. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, solution architects, and business stakeholders, to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
Your day-to day
- Support product-based organization at a Data Scientist role by developing data science solutions for data products
- Monitor the performance and quality of data and analytics solutions enabled by Advanced Analytics and continuously trigger enhancements for continuous improvement
- Conduct PoC and PoV to test ideas and concepts, intended to deliver Company goals in building smoke-free business
- Participate in knowledge sharing with markets and functions, and develop reusable DS components to facilitate Advanced Analytics maturity within PMI
- Keep abreast of emerging technology trends, industry best practices for data and analytics solutions
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to tackle complex problems.
- Working effectively in teams, often with cross-functional members
- Able to maintain strong motivation and drive Company transformation
- Earn and maintain trust through our actions, transparency, honesty, and open communication.

Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Business, or Data Science
- Not required, some internship with Advanced Analytics is a plus
- Programming languages: Python, R as a plus
- Familiarity with Python data structures, OOP is a plus
- Proficiency with SQL, MPP is a plus
- Software versioning (git) and testing experince (unit/integration)
- Strong foundation in statistics and probability
- Proficient with Data Science basic algorithms and methods: classification, regression, ranking, clustering
- Data Visualization skills - familiarity with python libraries: matplotlib, seaborn, plotly and others
- Data Management skills related to handling datasets, data cleaning, and data wrangling (python libraries: pandas, numpy, scipy, and others)
- AWS cloud (SageMaker, S3, EC2, EMR, Glue, and others)
- Experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) is a plus
