Your ‘day to day’:
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for leading and managing General Trade Local Chains and, in close collaboration with the Regional Manager, driving all key initiatives within the assigned territory (Western Serbia).
Your primary focus will be to propose, monitor, and implement commercial initiatives aligned with PMI’s commercial strategy, aimed at driving sales of both Reduced-Risk Products (RRP) and Combustible Cigarettes (CC), securing sustainable volume and market share growth, and supporting regional development.
You will support the Regional Manager in the development of detailed regional business plans, conduct field audits, and coordinate all activities between the region and PMI Headquarters (HQ):
- Ensure strong product availability, excellent in-store visibility, and broad coverage and adoption of PMI digital platforms. Propose and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy across selected accounts, in alignment with the regional business plan.
- Support the Regional Manager in defining and developing comprehensive regional business plans based on market insights, field observations, and quantitative data analysis.
- Provide timely and actionable feedback to PMI Headquarters (HQ) regarding the effectiveness of deployed commercial mechanics, programs, and activities within assigned accounts.
- Integrate field and team insights into territory action plans and translate findings into concrete business recommendations and execution priorities.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of third-party partners. Conduct formal field and performance audits to ensure excellence in execution, followed by detailed tracking, reporting, and corrective action planning.
- Deliver analytical insights to support business decisions and strategic direction, while providing constructive feedback to field teams to drive continuous execution improvement.
- Adhere to PMI policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, and ensure their consistent application across all activities, including PMI policies, the Marketing Code, the Code of Conduct, and legal requirements related to youth access prevention (YAP) and smoking prevention regulations
Who we’re looking for:
- Minimum 3 of experience in FMCG sales, trade marketing, business development, Key account management, or a related commercial role.
- Proven track record of delivering business results through effective execution of sales and commercial strategies in a fast-paced FMCG environment
- Strong understanding of route-to-market principles, category management, trade investment, and customer relationship management.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with internal and external partners to achieve business objectives
- Good planning and analytics skills (Excel)
- Proficient in English
- Driving license - active driver
