Your ‘day to day’

  • Provide timely and accurate legal analysis with risk assessment, prepare legal updates and reports, presentations and documentation in a wide variety of management or departmental initiatives and manage other legal matters related but not limited to commercial, litigation, corporate governance, Intellectual Property, HR, IR, competition law and compliance to reach business objectives in a manner consistent with intentions of business, all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies & practices.
  • Collaborate with other PMI Law department members to ensure internal reporting and compliance with policy requirements are met and consistent with requirements and schedules and contribute to the development of the PMI Law Department.
  • Support the Supervisor in the review of business proposals for consistency with laws, company policies & practices and the terms of the proposed transactions. To follow developments in the Affiliate’s business to pre-empt and identify legal issues for keeping management informed for timely resolution.
  • Assisting in setting, and managing, budgets for the Law Department.
  • Ensure that all contracts, agreements and other matters relating to Pakistan's business protect its interests, support its business plans, and are in compliance with applicable law as well as PMI policies and guidelines.
  • To assist Supervisor in the implementation of the departmental plans and objectives. • To remain current and knowledgeable with respect to current and pending legislation, case law and administrative regulations pertinent to subject matter areas/matters assigned and providing accurate and timely information to Management and supervisor in relation to relevant legal developments.
  • Participate in local, regional or global projects, ensuring that their decisions and recommendations protect the legal interests of the company, and execute decisions to achieve objectives on a timely basis.
  • Provide trainings according to the PMI's policies and practices. Support PMI and Regional Law in providing trainings.

 

Who we’re looking for?

 

  • 10-12 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent presentation and analytical skills, fluent oral communication and superior writing skills for communication in clear, short, succinct and easily comprehensible manner, proficiency in Power point.
