The Brand & Category Marketing Graduate forms part of PMI South Africa’s Early Careers / Internship Programme and is designed to provide hands-on exposure to category management, brand strategy, commercial execution, and consumer-focused marketing within a multinational FMCG environment.
This role supports the eVapour Category team in implementing brand development plans. It also promotes initiatives that drive engagement with customers, shoppers, and consumers. The role contributes to balanced and profitable business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
Throughout the programme, you’ll gain practical exposure across multiple areas within Brand and Category Marketing, including:
Brand & Category Support
- Support the eVapour Category team in Integrated Commercial Plan (ICP) development and execution
- Assist with execution of brand strategies and marketing campaigns aligned to category objectives
- Support the eVapour portfolio strategy for devices and consumables across multiple consumer segments and tier levels
- Contribute to initiatives that drive consumer value throughout the consumer lifecycle
Marketing Campaign & Creative Support
- Contribute to development of creative briefs and campaign guidance for agency partners
- Support alignment of marketing activities to brand objectives and campaign critical metrics
- Assist with maintaining brand visual, tonal, and execution guidelines across all touchpoints
- Present ideas, concepts, and final deliverables to internal and external collaborators
Trade & Commercial Execution Support
- Support deployment and maintenance of SSR Trade Point of Sale Materials across participating channels
- Assist with monitoring visibility and replacement of campaign execution materials where required
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Trade Marketing teams to support in-market execution
- Support fraud monitoring and campaign compliance activities
Performance Tracking & Analysis
- Support tracking and analysis of marketing initiatives and campaign performance
- Assist with compiling reports and updates for the Category team and line manager
- Chip in to finding opportunities to optimise campaign effectiveness and consumer engagement
- Support market and competitor monitoring activities

Minimum Requirements
- A relevant and recognised Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Commerce, Marketing, Economics, Business Science, or a related field
- Maximum of 2 years working experience
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Must be available to start immediately
- Ability to commit to a full-time 12-month internship programme
