RISE TO THE CHALLENGE

Philip Morris KSA Trading Company is looking for a Planning Manager to join the team. As a Planning Manager, you will be part of the Finance team, reporting to the Head of Planning and Strategy & Program Delivery.

Planning Manager role is accountable to provide strategic support and guidance to management with targets to all aspects of business planning and reporting, specifically coordinating and overseeing the activities related to volume sales forecasts, pricing & tax scenarios, market volume forecasts, share development projections, and analyses of competitive and market environments.

 

YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’

Planning

  • Work closely with Market MD, Finance, Sales, Marketing and CA to prepare the long-range plan, strategic reviews and annual budget cycles, with emphasis on volume sales forecasts & planning, pricing & tax scenarios, analysis of market and competitive fundamentals, market volume forecasts
  • Share development projections, fiscal & economic affairs analysis and recommendations
  • Monitor and report on market developments, environmental changes and competitive intelligence

 

Reporting

  • Ensure the accuracy of various business analyses/models, which involves highly sensitive information to support top management in deciding on critical issues such as pricing, new brand launches, restructuring projects, merger/acquisition feasibilities and capital investments.
  • Perform reporting functions for internal management and external reporting needs
  • Maintain accuracy of information in shared data repositories
  • Support Philip Morris management with respect to various requests/projects.


Business Presentations

  • Develop executive presentations of budgets, strategic reviews and management updates for Philip Morris International reviews, board Meetings and local management meetings.
  • Support executive presentations to employees and external audiences, while ensuring the quality and consistency of the provided data.

 

Market, Business & Environmental Intelligence

  • Leverage industry & marketplace trends by collecting, coordinating and appraising business data and market information to ensure that analysis and proposals are accurate in their content.
  • Initiate and supervise the preparation of market, economic and other analyses on critical and key issues in order to provide management with key parameters and recommendations on an accurate a timely manner within which business issues can be decided.
  • Maintain sharp awareness, including the gathering and research of data, of the Middle East general business, economic, political, market and competitive environments in order to identify key issues and to promptly advise Philip Morris management on these environments in which its business is and will be operating.


Human Resources Management & Development

  • Ensure development of the organizational skills and competencies required to implement business objectives through recruitment, performance management and development actions.
  • Foster effective team and work environment and encourage initiative to allow individuals within the organization to maximize their potential in the job and increase the overall performance of accounting organization, team spirit and motivation.

 WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • KSA National preferred
  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Engineering
  •  10+years of experience in a large multinational FMCG company with experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, ideally in Managerial role
  • Strong financial acumen with strategic mindset
  • Solid stakeholder management and the ability to influence across functions
  • Data driven with ability to commit to deliverables within critical timelines
