RISE TO THE CHALLENGE
Philip Morris KSA Trading Company is looking for a Consumer Activation Manager to join the team. As a Consumer Activation Manager, you will be part of the Commercial team, reporting to the Manager of Commercial Operations.
Consumer Activation Manager role is responsible for the deployment of Consumer Activation Strategy for the respective territory/region
Drive Share of Market (SOM), In-Market Sales (IMS), Adult Smokers Share growth and positive “word of mouth” effect for Philip Morris brands influencing adult nicotine users’ brand choice by building the Consumer Engagement (CE) plan, contributing to the Commercial plan, setting Consumer Engagement objectives for all the sub-territories, enhancing understanding of local consumer, managing resources within agreed budget with focus on maximizing on company's investments
YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’
- Develop Consumer Activation yearly plan and support the strategy for CA with the relevant inputs and ideas, working closely with SFP Deployment and Field teams to address business problems/ business opportunities (BP/BOWATTS) having in mind specific geography covered.
- Translate business objectives of the assigned sub-territories into feasible, efficient and effective commercial initiatives for adult smokers in line with national brand strategies and sub-territory specifics and ensure that the Consumer Activation plan is effectively deployed in relevant channels and touchpoints with excellence of execution to achieve In-Market Sales, Share of Market and Share of Adult Smokers objectives (reaching operational key performance indicators targets: direct consumer contact, success rate, touchpoints activation rate, hostess days, etc.)
- Deploy brand support initiatives for selected channels, aligning commercial initiatives (for adult smokers) with KSA brand strategies, and adjusting In Call Missions of front-line forces within pre-approved frames to reach assigned market objectives (represented in CA plan).
- Review brand support initiatives inputs from consumer engagement and consumer activation teams on regular basis to ensure alignment of activities and propose adjustment of brand initiatives based on business environment change
- Develop strong business knowledge and capability of Business to Consumer forces on brand activation through continuous learning and analysis of assigned sub-territory’s business landscape, dynamics of consumer preferences, competitors, opportunities and challenges in channels in scope, to ensure the competitive advantage.
- Build, manage, motivate and empower effective B2C team through field coaching (‘work with’ approach) and 'off the job' training programs and appropriate engagement, providing comprehensive feedback to each B2C personnel on individual performance to ensure a highly motivated, effective and efficient team that is able to achieve all targets
- Continuously monitor and analyze consumer and market trends, identify adult nicotine users’ insights in order to convert them into feasible and efficient commercial initiatives and into toolboxes adjusted to local specifics in cooperation with respective commercial teams.
- Ensure implementation & data integrity of CE systems and required accurate and timely reporting to secure reliability of information in use
- Provide inputs on segmentation of adult nicotine users, customers and touchpoints, collect legally accessible information on competitors, brands performance and other valuable data for planning and decision making.
- In line with commercial objectives and plans of assigned territory propose, utilize allocated budgets efficiently, in line with required OB (original budget) and RF (rolling forecast) budget submissions to achieve deployment of human, financial and other company resources with maximum return on budgeted investments.
- Monitor the performance of selected service providers (suppliers) and provide timely feedback on it, working closely with SFP Deployment team to achieve sustainable and incessant operations.
- In collaboration with National SFP Consumer Activation Manager/Lead steamline the performance of the 3rd party providers (Agencies) to assure quality of execution and appropriate administration of agreements and ensure full compliance of company’s activities with Saudi legislation and PMI principles and practices
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- KSA National
- Candidate must currently be based in Saudi Arabia
- University degree from a relevant discipline
- 5+ years of experience in consumer facing roles in FMCG indusries
- Experience in people management is an advantage
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English, Arabic is an advantage
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business sense with a proven ability to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Demonstrated willingness to take calculated risks and drive innovation.
- Leadership & Management: Solid leadership capabilities with experience in managing teams and driving performance.
- Project Management: Proven ability to lead and deliver complex projects on time and within scope.
