RISE TO THE CHALLENGE
Philip Morris KSA Trading Company is looking for a Commercial Capability Building Manager to join the team. As a Commercial Capability Building Manager, you will be part of the Commercial Organization Development, reporting to the Commercial Organization Development Manager. This position will be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Commercial Capability Building Manager role is is responsible for managing and executing Commercial Organization Development initiatives, programs and projects to build a flexible, empowered Commercial organization that promotes accountability and autonomy at all levels, focused on business results, exceptional in-field execution and business building with trade partners within the framework of Consumer Centric Organization.
YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY‘
Strategy & Vision Alignment:
- Support the National Commercial Organization Development Manager in developing and executing commercial organization development strategies aligned with the company’s vision and commercial objectives.
- Monitor the progression of the commercial organization towards long-term goals, identifying areas for improvement and recommending action plans to management.
Learning & Development:
- Accelerate a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the commercial organization.
- Equip lead trainers with up-to-date content knowledge, facilitation skills, and program positioning to ensure effective deployment of training initiatives.
- Design and lead regional capability-building and team development programs to foster open communication, information flow, and mutual understanding.
Program Design & Deployment:
- Develop and implement customized training, onboarding, and talent development programs to enhance leadership and business management capabilities.
- Collaborate with People & Culture (P&C) to support the development plans of key talents and ensure the growth of core competencies and technical skills.
Digital Learning & Tools:
- Lead the design and implementation of digital learning tools and platforms, ensuring content remains engaging and up-to-date.
- Stay abreast of global trends and best practices in training methodologies, adapting and proposing new tools and materials as needed.
Collaboration & Best Practices:
- Work closely with PMI and PMI Affiliates to leverage and share best practices in training and development.
- Encourage the creation of tailored training materials and effective coaching tools for the commercial team.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Prepare, propose, and manage the COD departmental budget, ensuring alignment with business plans.
- Track and analyse the progress of COD initiatives and departmental objectives, providing regular performance reports to management.
Field Force Development:
- Partner with Field Managers to assess learning needs, identify skill gaps, and develop targeted learning and coaching solutions for field teams.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- KSA National
- Educational Background: University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or any related field
- Professional Experience: 4+ years of experience in commercial capability building, with minimum 03 years’ experience in training & team management
- Industry Background: Proven experience in collaborating with sales teams within the FMCG or tobacco sectors, ideally with a leading multinational company
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English and Arabic (both written and spoken)
- Interpersonal & Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
