Your ‘day to day'
Technical Leadership & Engineering Excellence
- Lead and mentor engineering teams through technical challenges and architectural decisions.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, quality benchmarks, and best practices.
- Prioritize and manage technical debt to ensure long-term codebase health and maintainability
Agile Delivery
- Oversee Agile delivery processes, ensuring adaptability and responsiveness to changing requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine project goals, user stories, and priorities.
- Monitor sprint progress, resolve impediments, and align team capacity with delivery timelines.
- Ensure Epics and User Stories are well-defined, strategically aligned, and development ready.
- Maintain a healthy and prioritized Product Backlog in collaboration with Product Owners.
- Apply SAFe principles to coordinate across multiple Agile teams for seamless integration and delivery.
End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management
- Manage the full product development lifecycle—from solution design and development to deployment and continuous improvement.
- Lead change management processes, including release planning, QA, and documentation.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with architects and value stream leaders to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
- Gather and analyze feedback to drive iterative product enhancements.
- Actively participate in Program Increment (PI) planning to ensure backlog clarity and alignment
Who we’re looking for
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Expertise
- Programming Languages: Proficient in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with AWS (preferred); capable of deploying and managing cloud services.
- Agile Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe practices.
- CI/CD:
- Build and maintain automated pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
- Automate deployments to staging and production environments.
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Monitoring & Reliability: Familiar with tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and ELK Stack for system monitoring and incident response.
- Team Leadership: Skilled in code reviews, mentoring, and fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
- SAFe certification is highly desirable.
- AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect
