The Senior Financial Controlling Analyst plays a key role in consolidating and analyzing financial performance, supporting business planning cycles, and partnering with local and global stakeholders. This role ensures high‑quality reporting, insightful analysis, and active contribution to global controlling initiatives and process improvement projects.
How Your Day‑to‑Day Looks Like
- Consolidate and prepare Actuals, Rolling Forecast (RF), and Operating Budget (OB) for the market, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
- Coordinate financial input from multiple stakeholders and ensure alignment with global controlling standards and templates.
- Support the preparation of Operating Budget presentations, including performance highlights, key drivers, and variance analysis for management review.
- Provide clear and structured financial analysis and commentary to support decision‑making.
- Act as a key finance contact for reporting and planning cycles, working closely with business partners and regional/global controlling teams.
- Support and actively participate in process improvement and simplification initiatives within Global Controlling, both at local and global levels.
- Contribute to the implementation of new tools, reports, and ways of working in line with global transformation programs.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, reporting guidelines, and governance requirements.
- Support ad‑hoc analysis, simulations, and management requests as required.
Who We Are Looking For
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, planning, or reporting, preferably in a multinational or international environment.
- Solid understanding of Actuals, Budget, and Rolling Forecast processes.
- Strong analytical and consolidation skills, with attention to detail and ability to translate data into business insights.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Proactive, self‑driven, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Strong business acumen with an improvement‑oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Advanced skills in Excel; experience with SAP and management reporting tools is essential.
- Exposure to Tagetik and global reporting systems is an advantage.
- Interest and capability to contribute to global finance projects and transformation initiatives.
