As Digital Innovation Executive (AI/ML & Data Science), you will be at the intersection of HM Sampoerna’s commercial innovations, technological advancements, and AI-driven capabilities that enable our multicategory organization journey. You will have the opportunity to plan, execute, monitor, and embed data science & AI capabilities into our digitalization initiatives.

Your ‘day to day’:

• Understanding business problems, exploring opportunities, ideations and discovering new initiatives that will support the business.
• Driving technological innovations, including but not limited to requirements gathering, product innovation & development, experimentation, and impact analysis to support the growth and sustainability of our digital ecosystem.
• Mining, processing, and integrating big data sets from multiple data sources, in addition to build, test & evaluate AI/ML models & algorithms for solving business problems.
• Build reporting and BI solutions to serve business activities.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (including AI solutions), explore and assess their potential impact to business.
• Apply and integrate advanced analytics and data science capabilities (i.e. AI/ML models and other algorithms) with user-facing platforms/applications in delivering end-to-end tech-based solutions for business.
• Collaborating with other stakeholders and act as a tech consultant in advocating transformation through digital solutions.
• Communicating, sharing, and presenting ideas, methods, and results to diverse audience profiles.

Besides working in a Team with a strong passion to deliver, innovate and grow; you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including but not limited to business stakeholders, data engineering, Information Technology, and other cross-functional teams.

• Have a strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Have analytical mindset and able to translate business requirements to technical implementation.
• Proficient in business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI/Tablaeu/Cognos, MS. Excel.
• Understanding in data analytics, data modeling and knowledge of statistical methods.
• Have strong business acumen, project management ability, and comfortable working and collaborating with business and technical teams such as data & analytics, products, and software engineers.
• Passion to growing, continuous learning and creating positive impact together.

The following skills will be advantageous:

• Prior exposure and/or experience with product management or technology solution delivery/consulting.
• Familiarity with SQL & Python/R in enabling data science activities as well as for datamining, data preparation and transformation activities.
• Knowledge in database concepts and ETL/ELT techniques for data extraction, preparation, cleansing, transformation, and loading, as well as cloud technology is a plus.
• Familiar with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI/Tablaeu/Cognos, MS. Excel.

Professional experience:

• Min. 2-year experience with data analytics and comfortable working with data analytics & technology.

Academic background:

• Min. an undergraduate degree.

Language skills: Bahasa Indonesia and English
