We are currently seeking talented, business-savvy professionals to join DevOps/Automation Cloud Engineer based in Jakarta. This position will present you with outstanding professional challenges, diverse learning opportunities and career growth.

YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’:

Hard Skills

Core Infrastructure & Cloud (Required)

• AWS Infrastructure & Organization Management: Deep expertise in managing large-scale AWS Organizations, including multi-account strategies, Service Control Policies (SCPs), and centralized governance. Strong hands-on experience with Python (Boto3) for building automation scripts, managing AWS resources programmatically, and developing custom tooling for infrastructure operations - At least 4-5 years of experience.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in Terraform and Terraform Enterprise (workspaces, remote state management, Sentinel policies, private module registry) - At least 4 years of experience.
• Configuration Management & Automation: Strong experience with Ansible (including Ansible for AWS), and expertise in automating routine tasks and system deployments using scripting languages like Python and Bash -At least 4 years of experience.
• Operating Systems: Working experience in Windows and Linux systems administration, including patching, hardening, and performance tuning - At least 2-4 years.

CI/CD & DevOps Practices

• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Ability to design, construct, and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, connecting development teams with operational counterparts - 3-5 years' experience.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker, container orchestration, and modern deployment strategies.

Incident Management & Support Operations

• ServiceNow & Ticket Management: Proven experience handling support tickets, managing incident queues, tracking SLAs, and ensuring timely resolution of infrastructure-related issues.
• Incident Management and Troubleshooting: Strong skills in incident management, effective problem-solving techniques, root cause analysis (RCA), and a methodical approach to diagnosing and rectifying system outages - 3-5 years' experience.

Architecture & Security (Not mandatory but preferred)

• • • Service Architecture:  knowledge of web-based and service-based architectures (REST and GraphQL), and micro-services patterns.
    • Observability & Monitoring: Knowledge in setting up and maintaining Observability Systems using CloudWatch, Elastic Stack (ELK), Grafana, New Relic, Datadog, or similar tools. Ability to develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues in production environments - 3-5 years' experience.
    • Cloud Networking & Connectivity: Strong understanding of cloud connectivity, including VPC peering, Transit Gateway, VPNs, Direct Connect, and hybrid cloud setups. Experience with setting up and managing secure and efficient connectivity between cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure is highly valued.
    • Security Standards: Understanding of privacy and security standards (AWS Foundational Security Best Practices, CIS Benchmarks). Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and secure development practices is a plus.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

• Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must.
• Ability to continuously stay up to date with security and technical trends and evolve platforms based on them.

Nice to Have

• Experience in leading a team
• Experience working on an internal Platform/Platform Engineering
• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator)

• Quality Focus: A keen eye for quality with regards to following and establishing good coding practices, improving code coverage, and enforcing best practices for the team to follow.
• Resilience: Capacity to remain calm and effective under pressure, especially during system outages or critical incidents.
• Stakeholder Management: Good stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentorship: Ability to lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of reliability and excellence
