We are looking for a Corporate Affairs Manager who will play a key role in shaping and advancing PMI Turkiye's regulatory and policy agenda. This role will be responsible for developing and executing regulatory engagement strategies, monitoring emerging policy developments, and building constructive relationships with external stakeholders to support our smoke-free business transformation.

You Bring
 

  • Lead the development and implementation of regulatory policy strategies that support market access, product commercialization, and broader business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory, fiscal, and political developments, assessing their impact on the business and proactively identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships with various stakeholders while monitoring developments in the regulatory landscape.
  • Contribute to the preparation of briefing materials, presentations, and other supporting documents to facilitate stakeholder engagement and policy-related discussions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, commercial, scientific, and external affairs teams to ensure alignment on regulatory priorities and advocacy initiatives.
  • Manage regulatory intelligence and transform insights into actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
  • Provide expertise, coaching, and guidance on regulatory policy matters across the organization while promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with evolving standards.

 

 

 

This position can be something for you if you recognize yourself in the below profile:

 

  • University degree in Political Science, Economics, Law, International Relations, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Corporate Affairs, Government Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Public Affairs, Public Policy, Legal, or other relevant functions. Previous experience working in the public sector is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, policymaking processes, and stakeholder dynamics within highly regulated industries.
  • Proven experience engaging with government institutions, industry associations, policymakers, or other key external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate complex regulatory developments into clear business implications.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to articulate complex legal, scientific, and regulatory concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects, navigate ambiguity, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of sustainability principles and their impact on policymaking, stakeholder engagement, and business transformation is considered an asset.
  • Excellent English and Turkish communication skills, both written and verbal.
