Do you want to lead at the heart of manufacturing, inspire people, and create visible business impact? We are looking for a Line Lead to join PMTM İzmir-Torbalı, one of PMI's leading manufacturing sites.

 

In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for assigned production line(s), driving performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale (SQDCM). You will lead operational excellence initiatives, develop high-performing teams, and contribute to the OPEN+ transformation journey.

 

Key Responsibilities

Production Leadership & Performance

  • Own the performance and results of assigned production line(s).
  • Ensure production plan adherence and sustainable operational performance.
  • Lead Daily Direction Setting, performance reviews, and corrective actions.
  • Support successful implementation and start-up of projects and initiatives.

Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with EHS, Sustainability, Quality, and legal requirements.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and act as a role model.
  • Drive loss elimination, productivity, efficiency, yield, waste, and cost improvements.
  • Partner with Quality and cross-functional teams to prevent incidents and ensure product integrity.
  • Standardize best practices and encourage knowledge sharing.

People Leadership

  • Build and develop autonomous, high-performing teams.
  • Coach and develop team members in technical, leadership, and digital capabilities.
  • Foster engagement, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across manufacturing and support functions.

OPEN+ & Operational Excellence

  • Lead OPEN+ deployment using the Learn-Do-Teach approach.
  • Promote a zero-loss mindset and continuous improvement culture.
  • Contribute to pillar activities, reviews, and standard work implementation.
  • Support benchmarking and best-practice reapplication.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Industrial, Chemical, or related Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing/industrial experience.
  • Proven experience managing production teams with direct people leadership responsibility.
  • Strong coaching, talent development, and performance management capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of production processes, operational performance, and loss elimination.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze trends and prioritize actions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Power BI and AI tools is an advantage.
  • Exposure to OPEN+, IWS, DMS, Autonomous Maintenance, Progressive Maintenance, or similar operational excellence methodologies is a plus.
