We are looking for an IFMS Manager to lead Integrated Facility Management Services, Utilities and Maintenance at PMTM, one of PMI’s leading and largest manufacturing sites.

Your “day to day”

As Manager IFMS, you will lead two critical functions:

• IFMS, covering facility services, buildings, infrastructure, sustainability, energy management, major budgets, key contracts and a broad provider network.
• Utilities Operations & Maintenance, ensuring uninterrupted availability of critical utilities for PMTM’s 24/7 operations, including utility and production support systems, infrastructure and non-production asset maintenance.
• Both functions are supported by Leads, Engineers and Technicians.

Your responsibilities

IFMS Strategy and Commercial Governance

• Define strategy for facility services, buildings, infrastructure, energy and sustainability.
• Manage operating and energy budgets, identifying cost and service improvements.
• Oversee contracts and providers through SLAs, KPIs and performance reviews.
• Drive infrastructure, energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure services meet business, safety and quality standards.

Utilities Operations & Maintenance

• Ensure safe, uninterrupted supply of electricity, steam, gas, water, compressed air, HVAC and other critical systems.
• Ensure predictive and preventive maintenance of utility systems, infrastructure, buildings and non-production assets.
• Improve asset reliability, operational efficiency and business continuity.

Safety and Operational Excellence

• Lead by example in safety and ensure compliance with company and legal requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation.
• Lead initiatives to improve safety, reliability, energy and water performance, cost efficiency and service quality.
• Ensure contractor safety, effective change management and risk control.

Organisation and People Leadership

• Lead and develop teams of Leads, Engineers and Technicians.
• Build technical and leadership capabilities for a complex manufacturing operation.
• Ensure alignment between strategic IFMS activities and daily Utilities & Maintenance operations.
• Promote ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.

Who we’re looking for

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics or related Engineering.
• 8+ years’ experience in IFMS, utilities, engineering, facility management or manufacturing operations within industrial environments.
• Experience leading teams, contractors and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong experience in budgeting, contracts, supplier management and cost optimisation.
• Knowledge of utility systems, maintenance strategies and asset reliability.
• Strong project, stakeholder management and continuous improvement skills.
• Proven safety leadership.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience in a large, complex manufacturing environment preferred.
