We are seeking a Brand Manager – Inhalable Smoke‑Free Business to support our Finland division and direct portfolio and brand strategy for inhalable smoke‑free products or relevant experience.
Role summary
As Brand Manager, you are responsible for the overall performance of the Inhalable smoke‑free business in Finland.
Your primary focus is on portfolio strategy, assortment optimization, lifecycle management, pricing architecture, and performance steering, ensuring balanced growth in a highly regulated and evolving market.
You serve as the sole owner of Inhalable smoke‑free brands and portfolio success in Finland. You translate global strategies into efficient local portfolio decisions and brand plans, working closely with commercial, regulatory, supply chain, and finance teams.
Your day‑to‑day
- Own and continuously develop the Finland inhalable smoke‑free portfolio strategy, including segmentation, product mix, and lifecycle management
- Drive assortment decisions: SKU prioritization, launches, phase‑outs, and transitions in line with business strategy, regulation, and consumer uptake
- Define and guide pricing architecture and value propositions in partnership with commercial and finance colleagues
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, market trends, competitive dynamics, and consumer behaviour to identify growth opportunities and risks
- Translate global brand and category strategies into local portfolio and assortment choices aligned with Finland’s regulatory framework
- Contribute to annual business planning, forecasting, and long‑range planning, including budget and strategic inputs
- Act as brand and portfolio guardian, ensuring clarity in positioning, product hierarchy, and strategic intent across functions
- Develop and implement brand plans for the market, including clear objectives, priorities, and success metrics to drive balanced brand performance
- Build and continuously improve channel toolboxes (assets, messages, mentorship) according to channel objectives, ensuring consistent execution across touchpoints
- Work closely with external agencies to develop and deliver initiatives, ensuring on‑brand quality, compliance, and timely execution
- Manage systems and processes related to content and asset management, ensuring materials are up to date, easy to access, and used consistently across channels
- Build strong, positive relationships with key partners across functions to drive alignment and smooth execution
- Lead and deliver critical initiatives and projects related to portfolio development, optimization, and performance improvement
Who you are
- 5–7+ years of experience in brand management, portfolio management, category management, or commercial strategy
- University degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or similar
- Strong experience in decision-making based on managing multiple projects: lifecycle management, assortment strategy, pricing logic, and performance analysis
- Highly analytical, with the ability to turn data into clear commercial decisions
- A creative problem solver who can simplify complexity into clear, actionable plans and toolboxes
- Experience in managing agencies and overseeing creative processes
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, with the potential to lead and mentor junior team members and drive high‑quality delivery through others
- Comfortable operating independently with cross‑functional and international collaborators
- Strong presentation and communication skills, able to clearly articulate brand direction and recommendations to internal collaborators and agency partners
- Structured, results-focused, and effective in complex, regulated environments
- Proficient in English, knowledge of Finnish is an advantage
