We are looking for a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Continuous Improvement to join our Manufacturing team in Guadalajara.

In this role, you will lead our manufacturing continuous improvement system, using World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean Manufacturing, and OPEN+ to deliver sustainable improvements in productivity, efficiency, cost, and overall manufacturing performance.

Your day-to-day

  • Lead the deployment, maturity, and continuous evolution of manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement systems across the site.
  • Find opportunities for loss elimination, productivity improvement, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and operational data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Apply and embed methodologies including WCM, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, OPEN+, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, 5S, and structured problem solving.
  • Lead complex, multi-functional transformation initiatives involving Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and other manufacturing functions.
  • Build continuous improvement capabilities by coaching manufacturing leaders and frontline teams and strengthening ownership at every level.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure improvement initiatives deliver measurable operational and business results.

Who we’re looking for

  • Solid 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement within a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Significant hands-on experience in a manufacturing site, with a strong understanding of shop-floor operations, production systems, equipment performance, and manufacturing losses.
  • Proven experience leading the deployment, maturity, or transformation of WCM, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, OPEN+, or comparable manufacturing excellence systems across a manufacturing site or organization.
  • A track record of measurable improvements in productivity, equipment efficiency, reliability, quality, waste reduction, cost, or overall operational performance.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities, using manufacturing data to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build continuous improvement capabilities, coaching leaders and frontline teams to embed new standards, behaviors, and ways of working.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge the status quo, mobilize multi-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive sustainable change.

What will make you successful

You are equally comfortable on the shop floor and engaging senior stakeholders. You bring a strong loss-elimination mindset and know how to move from identifying an opportunity to finding the root cause, implementing the solution, establishing standards, and sustaining the improvement.

Most importantly, you understand that manufacturing transformation is about building capabilities, creating ownership, and enabling teams to continuously improve how they operate.
