Your ‘day to day’

Execute and lead the processes for eliminating losses related to maintenance and breakdowns at the lowest cost as well as building capability in the team to support in delivering the business result of the assigned RRP line(s) and fully applying the Integrated Operating System (IOS) and PMI standards and policies.

 

Major accountabilities:

  • Act as the line owner for Breakdown Elimination and Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Daily Management Systems (DMS), and as the technical expert in problem-solving and on-floor troubleshooting. The majority of the individual's time will be spent on the floor working with teams and building the capability of people in the respective area.
  • Ensure full compliance with local legislation, company policies and practices, and the IMS. Adhere to all Environment, Health, Safety, and Security (Sustainability) rules, policies, and practices by applying and ensuring workplace and other employees comply with local regulations.
  • Review safety incident investigations to ensure corrective actions are in place.
  • Execute weekly DMS health checks to identify gaps and constraints in the organization and implement appropriate countermeasures accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with all PMI and legal standards and guidelines related to the quality of incoming materials, SFGs, and FGs in line with the QMS.
  • Focus on quality defect elimination/prevention and quality at the source.
  • Perform maintenance routines to address quality defect elimination/prevention.
  • Participate in setting the 24-hour direction for the line(s) during the Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meeting and be actively involved in the execution of the daily plan. Provide input during the DDS meeting related to any "Line Daily Direction Setting."
  • Provide input during the DDS meeting related to any maintenance activities and tasks that need to be completed during the following planned stop.
  • Follow up on breakdown elimination and maintenance planning and scheduling DMSs.
  • Build the team's capability in technical troubleshooting and technical mastery through coaching and delivering on-the-job training

 

Who we’re looking for:

  • 5 - 6 years of experience in maintenance planning within the manufacturing industry.
  • Previous experience or exposure to people coordination/management activities would be an asset.
  • Desired skills: Customer Focus, Action Oriented, Priority Setting, Problem Solving, Drive for Results, Organizational Agility, Peer Relationships, Motivating Others, Leading by Example.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is an asset.
