Your "Day to Day"

The Manager MRP LAC is responsible for leading regional material requirements planning and supply planning activities across Latin America and Canada, ensuring the optimal availability of finished goods, raw materials, components, and production capacity to support business objectives.

This role plays a critical part in balancing demand and supply across the network, mitigating operational risks, improving supply continuity, and driving planning excellence. The position partners closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Commercial, Finance, and external suppliers to ensure efficient inventory management, accurate forecasting, and seamless product availability across the region.

In addition to leading day-to-day planning operations, the role is expected to drive continuous improvement initiatives, strengthen planning capabilities, and implement strategies that enhance service levels, cost efficiency, and cash performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead material requirements planning (MRP) processes across the LAC region to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Manage demand-supply balancing activities and support short, medium, and long-term planning cycles.
• Ensure timely availability of resources required to meet production and market requirements.
• Drive inventory optimization strategies while maintaining targeted service levels.
• Monitor and manage supply risks related to material availability, production constraints, capacity limitations, or supplier performance.
• Oversee forecasting methodologies and planning assumptions to improve supply reliability and planning accuracy.
• Review and approve production plans, material requisitions, and purchase plans with external manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers.
• Support sourcing decisions, footprint optimization, and production allocation strategies across the network.
• Lead and develop a team of managers and planning professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive process and system improvements to enhance planning performance and operational efficiency.

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.
• Significant experience in Supply Planning, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Planning, Inventory Management, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), or related Supply Chain fields.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams, including leaders and people managers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform data into business insights and actions.
• Experience working in complex manufacturing, FMCG, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, tobacco, food & beverage, or similar industries.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Commercial, and Finance functions.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems and planning tools.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent Supply Chain certification.
• Experience in regional or multi-country planning environments.
• Exposure to external manufacturing, supplier relationship management, and network optimization initiatives.
• Experience leading transformation or continuous improvement projects.
