RISE TO THE CHALLENGE
Philip Morris Management Services (Middle East) Ltd (PMMS) is looking for Sr Supervisor Key Accounts to join the team. As a Sr Supervisor Key Accounts, you will be part of the Commercial Operations team reporting to the Key Accounts Manager.
The Sr Supervisor Key Accounts is responsible for managing regional key accounts in line with the national sales strategy and PMI objectives. The role supports the National Key Accounts Manager in ensuring optimal commercialization, smooth product flow, strong business relationships, and the delivery of volume and market share targets within the assigned accounts.
Your ‘day to day’
Activity Plans & Sales Programs
- Develop activity plans and sales programs for regional key accounts.
- Ensure alignment with the overall channel strategy.
- Support successful implementation in the market.
Account Management on Retail Level
- Manage and negotiate with regional key accounts in line with the strategic plan to secure product listings, visibility, volume-driving activities, and retail-level communication tools.
- Track and monitor key account performance indicators, including volumes, returns, and other relevant account figures.
- Enable POS-level activities by ensuring product availability across the second layer in line with the overall sales strategy and company targets.
- Plan direct volume requirements and ensure the right product assortment is listed.
Customer Support & Relationship
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional key accounts to support profitable business growth.
- Create the right conditions to implement commercial activities effectively across assigned accounts.
- Ensure excellence in execution within a restricted tobacco business environment.
Execution & Implementation of agreements
- Ensure the successful execution of all account-related activities through the field organization and third-party agencies.
Budget Allocation
- Plan account budgets and provide input into the overall channel budget allocation process.
- Track compliance rates against approved budgets.
- Ensure effective resource allocation to support sustainable ROI.
- Support the National Key Accounts Manager with top national accounts at regional level, including supervision of regional volume push activities.
Team Management
- Support the National Key Accounts Manager in team coordination and act as a key contact point with the wider field force.
- Lead, coach, and develop Key Accounts Executives across the UAE market to drive engagement and performance.
- Translate commercial objectives into clear action plans and ensure strong execution across territories and channels.
- Monitor KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve commercial outcomes.
Who we're looking for
- Candidate must be currently based in UAE and has a valid UAE driving license
- University degree from any relevant discipline
- 5-7 years of experience in key accounts/territory/sales role preferably in FMCG industry
- Previous experience leading, coaching, or supervising field-based commercial teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to drive business performance through teams.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Effective collaborator who can work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at different levels.
