Join Our Dynamic Team as a Sr. Internal Communications Specialist!
Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for fostering transparency, engagement, and a sense of community within an organization? We are looking for a talented Internal Communications Specialist to support our Communications Director in implementing an internal communications strategy that resonates across the Middle East (ME) cluster.
What Your Day Looks Like:
- Strategic Planning: Utilize data, insights, and employee feedback to set the ME cluster internal communications plan, aligning with the company’s business strategy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal business stakeholders to keep employees informed about company strategy, key initiatives, and news through various channels and campaigns (e.g., town halls, staff volunteering events, social events).
- Campaign Management: Collaborate with other teams to deliver engaging and impactful campaigns for major programs.
- Content Development: Create and manage internal communications content, channels, and tools in line with our Internal Communication strategy. This includes planning, editing, and writing content for mediums such as One ME, Viva Engage, quarterly newsletters, and executive communications.
- Digital Asset Creation: Develop digital assets like videos and infographics.
- Event Support: Prepare presentations for internal events and support people engagement activities across the cluster (e.g., Social Thursdays, quarterly team lunches).
- Content Calendar Management: Oversee the internal content calendar in partnership with other teams.
- Leadership Guidance: Provide best practice guidance and support to the leadership team on internal communications.
- Employee Listening: Work closely with the P&C team on local employee listening activities.
- Project Leadership: Lead projects focused on engagement and communication to address local pain points and employee needs.
- Performance Reporting: Ensure all projects are implemented based on set KPIs and metrics, providing consistent reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns, engagement, events, and regular communications.
- Sustainability Coordination: Support the Communications Director in managing the governance of the sustainability working group and lead on projects in coordination with the global Sustainability team.
- Team Alignment: Develop strong working relationships with local, regional, and global colleagues.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 8 years in communications within a multinational organization, specifically in internal communications.
- Campaign Creation: Proven ability to create impactful and creative campaigns that deliver meaningful outcomes for employees.
- Event Management: Experience in managing events.
- Executive Communications: Skilled in writing executive communications and managing internal communication platforms.
- Strategic Thinking: Adept at developing internal communications strategies to support corporate objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in managing stakeholders and working in a matrix organization.
- Educational Background: BA in journalism, communications, public relations, or marketing is an advantage, though other degrees are also considered.
- Language Proficiency: Native English speaker or excellent level of English as a second language, both written and spoken.
