Philip Morris Management Services (Middle East) Ltd (PMMS) is looking for a Senior Research Analyst to join the team. As a Senior Research Analyst, you will be part of the Research team based in Dubai, UAE and reporting to the Research Manager
Senior Research Analyst role is responsible for enabling decision makers to act on relevant, timely and actionable insight and information about the consumer and the marketplace through designing and implementing relevant research projects and driving analyses. The role will cover managing research projects for the following markets: UAE, Kuwait and Iraq.
Your ‘Day to Day’:
- Design and implement research studies to help the market achieve the business objectives; lead the analysis and interpretation of results; present key findings and recommendations.
- Drive the market research process through optimizing research briefs, supplier choice, methodologies, and analyses to ensure that the market only receives work of the highest quality from leading edge agencies in a cost-effective manner.
- Manage and interpret regular trackers and database insights.
- Deliver high-quality consumer research projects, including triggers and content.
- Guide the commercial teams in developing commercial plans by providing strategic insights and holistic additional analyses by considering all relevant data from various research studies, trackers and ad hoc, to improve consumer & market understanding.
- Generate and contextualize consumer & market insights and translate those into actionable recommendations.
- Keep abreast of the latest innovations in market research to ensure the most relevant and advanced methodologies are used to facilitate the collection of actionable consumer and brand knowledge.
- Actively seek out concept and project knowledge, learnings, and best practices from other markets.
Who we’re looking for?
- Bsc. Degree in Business administration, management, economics, mathematics, statistics, communication, sociology or any relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in market research, insights, consumer experience, business intelligence, planning, analytics and/or similar fields.
- Proficient English (Written & Spoken). Arabic is an advantage.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques is also preferable.
- High working proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power Point and similar software is mandatory.
- Deep understanding of data sources and stakeholder needs.
- Strong analytical and storytelling skills – translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Curiosity, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to connect the dots.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Google Analytics and other data analytics tools is a plus.
