Purpose of the role:
Serve as the Commercial Operations centre of excellence for strategy, integrated planning, performance management and capability building.
Equip commercial leaders with the insights, processes and capabilities needed to make effective decisions and deliver business priorities.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Lead the commercial planning cycle and consolidate channel plans
• Support the translation of business strategy into commercial priorities, targets and initiatives
• Develop performance dashboards, management insights and commercial reviews
• Coordinate forecasting, scenario planning and resource requirements with Finance and category teams
• Evaluate channel, customer and geographic performance
• Lead strategic commercial projects and Route-to-Market assessments
• Define commercial competency requirements and capability-building priorities
• Develop practical learning interventions, tools and ways of working
• Track commercial investment deployment and support effectiveness reviews
• Simplify commercial processes and strengthen planning and execution governance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing or a related analytical discipline
• Typically 6 to 8 years of experience in commercial planning, strategy, sales operations, business intelligence or commercial finance
• Experience building business plans, forecasts and management reports
• Strong analytical, presentation, and business-modelling capability
• Experience designing or delivering commercial capability interventions is advantageous.
