Position Title:  Senior IT Analyst

Your Responsibilities

• Understand business plans and priorities in the Senegal IT Operations domain and own the deployment and development of vital IT systems for successful rollout.
• Facilitate the deployment, localization, and support of global/core business system solutions, ensuring integration with other systems and data alignment.
• Proactively identify business requirements not supported by the available IT portfolio and collaborate with the IT Operations Platform to agree on local tactical solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy local IT solutions, ensuring integration with other systems and data alignment to meet local business requirements.
• Provide maintenance and support for global and local system solutions in the operations domain.
• Plan and track resources (budget, people, etc.) in line with business plans and priorities, following guidelines defined by Central IT.
• Lead medium to large complexity projects.
• Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and standards to achieve quality and compliance with solutions and services.

What You Need to Succeed

• University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Automation & Robotics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in supporting and/or deploying IT systems (experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Quality Assurance areas is an asset).
• IT knowledge including experience in MS SQL, MS SSRS, or Power BI, and knowledge of MS Windows Server & Client environment.
• Additional domain experience is an advantage (Understanding of MES or equivalent experience, LES, SCADA systems, Industry 4.0, IoT, AWS cloud).
• Experience with Agile Software Development / Deployment.
• Strong continuous improvement mindset and project management skills (Project Management experience is an asset).
• Knowledge of Application Development and DEVOPS concepts (experience with C#, .NET, etc. is a plus).
• Proficient in English with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of business solution delivery and lifecycle management.
• Service management, project management, people management, and collaborator management skills.
• Customer focused approach and the ability to work in an international environment.
