We’re looking for a smart, collaborative, and agile demand planning expert to manage and coordinate forecasts across multiple fast-moving, diverse markets. If you’re passionate about translating commercial insights into operational action — this is where you can shine
You’ll work with a high level of independence and confidence, handling multiple priorities across regions while building strong relationships with local teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-impact environments, and is ready to grow into a future managerial role in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) dealing with market like Gabon, Kenya, Djibouti, Somalia, Tanzania, Senegal, and more.
Your day to day
Drive Forecasting Excellence:
- Own and manage the end-to-end demand planning process across SSA markets.
- Gather and challenge forecasts from Commercial teams to ensure accuracy.
- Adjust demand signals are frequently based on market dynamics.
Be the Glue Across Functions:
- Act as the bridge between Commercial, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, and Customer Service.
- Align demand plans with regional factories and global suppliers.
- Translate business intelligence into concrete production and supply plans
Lead Performance and Process Improvements:
- Monitor KPIs such as stock availability, service levels, and forecast accuracy.
- Identify risks of stock-outs and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting practices and planning systems
Own Imports and Lifecycle Transitions:
- Coordinate product imports for countries not served by local production.
- Manage product phase-ins and phase-outs, including new product launches
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related fields.
- Master’s degree or certifications (APICS, Lean Six Sigma, IBF) are advantageous
- 6–8 years of practical experience in Demand Planning or S&OP, preferably in FMCG, pharma, or medical devices.
- Experience working within Senegal and/or surrounding West African countries is a must
- Proven ability to manage complexity across multiple markets and stakeholders.
- Fluent spoken and written English is a must.
- Proven experience in working autonomously
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with cross-functional team
