Your ‘day to day’:
As a Utilities Engineering Senior Specialist you will be responsible for the efficient design, documentation, development, and supervision of implementation of utility systems within the ES Facilities Engineering organization. Systems include but not limited to: ventilation, water/sewage, gas/fuel, power, electricity, heating, cooling, lighting, fire & lighting protection.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement utility systems to meet organizational needs, including water/energy/CO2 efficiency and regulatory standards;
- Maintain comprehensive engineering records related to utility systems, standards, best practices ensuring they are regularly updated to reflect changes, improvements, or adjustments;
- Lead utility-related projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation;
- Ensure all utility systems comply with company, local, state, and federal regulations regarding safety and environmental standards;
- Implement strategies for energy/water/CO2 conservation and efficiency improvement in all projects;
- Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and departments to ensure integrated and efficient project delivery.
Who we’re looking for:
- 6-10 Years of experience in Utility Engineering roles within large, structured multinational companies;
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certifications are preferred
- Extensive knowledge of utility systems, including their design criterias, design process and implementation
- Knowledge of design/construction phases
- Good understanding of sourcing process and contract methodologies
- Superior knowledge of MS Office and project management tools. Autocad / design skills is desirable and will be a plus
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing utility systems
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, and will be tested throughout the interview process.
