Roles & Objectives

As an Intern you will be part of our EHS Department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A and will be reporting to Manager Manufacturing Sustainability. The position will be based in Bologna.

 

Specific Responsibilities: 

 

  • Assist in the implementation of Sustainability and EHS initiatives and tools across the factory;

  • Support managers and supervisors in promoting awareness on Sustainability policies, procedures and continuous improvement activities;

  • Collaborate in identifying improvement opportunities, weaknesses or emerging issues within ongoing Sustainability projects;

  • Support the creation and improvement of dashboards and data models in Excel (advanced) and Power BI (preferred).

  • Participate in site inspections, walkthroughs and routine Sustainability activities, supporting the team in data gathering and documentation (no autonomous risk assessment or formal evaluations).

 

 

Who we’re looking for  

 

  • Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Safety Engineering or related fields;

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, charts, formulas;

  • Knowledge of Power BI or strong motivation to learn it quickly;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
  • Fluency in English and in Italian is mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process;
