Roles and Objectives

 

As our next Sr Engineer for Quality Assurance you will support the Quality Assurance (QA) framework across the Supply & Customer Service (S&CS) organization to safeguard product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence throughout the end‑to‑end Supply & Distribution network. You will drive the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of QA processes to meet the business needs of the Supply & Distribution Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring that quality requirements are effectively embedded into supply and distribution activities and applied consistently across operations.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure effective governance of core QA processes (e.g. non‑conformance, CAPA, deviation management, training and change), maintaining alignment with QMS requirements and driving consistent application across Supply & Distribution operations;
  • Drive the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of QA processes to meet business needs, ensuring procedures, standards, and tools remain effective, up to date, and fit for purpose;
  • Lead complex non‑conformance investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA definition, execution, and effectiveness verification. Proactively identify and assess quality risks and ensure timely mitigation and escalation to higher management;
  • Act as KPI owner for defined quality indicators, consolidating inputs, monitoring trends, and triggering continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality and operational performance;
  • Leverage quality data, analytics, and evidence from diverse sources to identify improvement opportunities, support prioritization of initiatives, and enable sound, timely decision‑making;
  • Support audit and inspection readiness activities by ensuring documentation accuracy, evidence availability, timely response to findings, and implementation of sustainable corrective and preventive actions.

 

Who we’re looking for:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or equivalent scientific disciplines or equivalent skills through demonstrated experience;
  • 6-10 years experience in Quality disciplines in tobacco, food, pharmaceutical or similar industry;
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant standards (ISO, ICH, GMP);
  • Well developed IT skills, analytical skills, and project management skills;
  • Advanced knowledge on Quality tools, root-cause analysis, and statistical tools;
  • Product Quality Knowledge, Supply Chain processes knowledge;
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
